Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as the future of this world lies in the technical field. Faculties are highly educated and lovely. Students count varies from 55 to 60. Faculties have written all the needed exams and of course they are highly educated about this course. Term exams are held at an interval of around 5 to 6 months and sometimes it only takes 4 months. Exams are not that much difficult. With the education that we get, we can pass the exams.
Internships Opportunities
At the end of 2nd and 4th semesters, there are intership facilities. 2nd sem includes college level internship and 4th sem includes company level. We went to Mswuared Private company at Technopark, Trivandrum for a one month internship for studying python django. We also did a small project regarding that.
Placement Experience
From the 5th semester onwards, students become eligible for campus placements. A lot of companies including multinational companies come here for placing students. Around 25 to 40 companies comes over a year. Most of the companies provide Rs 25000 as the starting salary. They selects students according to their performance in the test and interview that the companies conduct. Students who have high skills and also above 75% gets placed first. My plan after this is to get higher education.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure includes Rs 3850 per year. But most of the backwards students get a scholarship that helps them to pay the fees. Egrantz scholarship is one of them. Students can easily afford the fees in this college.
Campus Life
The life in this college is really amazing. We conduct a lot of fests. Recently our department conducted a tech fest named Xtravaganza which was a great success. Our library includes more than 40000 books and every student can access the entry. They can clear their doubts using these books. Sport, arts, and extracurricular activities are also conducted every year. Our college supports every kind of activities. Students can run clubs in their own departments and also in the college.
Admission
10th standard is the eligibility criteria for this course. Students who pass 10th or equivalent examinations with Mathematics and Science subjects are eligible for admission into this college. Application form is available online and once we get any allotment, we can directly come to college and take admission. Those who acquired higher marks will get placed first. The admission process clearly follows a pattern and there is nothing to be changed.
