Course Curriculum Overview
My course includes subjects based on IT,CSE and AI fields. I am currently in my 4th semester and uptil now I have my subjects as data science, programming with python, Object oriented programming with Java, artificial intelligence, computer organisation and architecture, computer networks, data structures, discrete mathematics, and design and analysis. There are more but that was what I could recall of. The faculty is very supportive and coordinative. We have 2sems in one year and one mids and end sems per semester.
Internships Opportunities
There are many opportunities but none that I could come across. I did had the option for uber and Google but I couldn't clear the online assessment but according to the experience of my seniors which have heard of are great and many companies like Uber, Google, jp Morgan , bny melan and etc.
Placement Experience
There are few and to be accurate two opportunities one come across in the end of second year or in the mid of the second year from Google and uber other than that all the intern opportunities are availed to the students in the start of third year and at the end of the third year all the placement opportunities are available for the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure is not that high and there are many scholarship opportunities that you could take use of. There is no financial assistance as such but there are great placement offers and everyone could easily opt for student loan.
Campus Life
There are lots of clubs and societies on campus and in and about of all kinds which one can think of. There are 4 fests which are organised across the year. One cultural fest-TAARANGANA, one technical fest- INNERVE , one sports fest- IGNITE and one literary fest- AAROHAN.
Admission
You need to give JEE-MAINS exam and then on clearing that you need to go through the JAC counselling where in your seat would be allotted in the basis of you AIR rank. Delhi students have a reservation of 85 percent. There are around 4-6 rounds and one spot round. You have two options float and freeze while paying the fee of your seat. At my time I floated my seat and paid 95k and the rest amount was paid after admission.
