Finest college

As is well said that every coin has two faces.. College life is the most thrilling life of any student..it may lead you to food path or make you move astray..its upto you how you manage all these stuffs and keep moving forward. Well it's a good college when it comes to academics but somewhere lack in giving practical knowledge.

UPSEE Exam i scored 356 marks out of 600 one of my cousins suggest me this college. i even heard that it is one of the best engineering college in UPTU when you're talking to private colleges. even my marks are not soo good soo that I could go for the government colleges. these two reasons urge me too opt for this college. btw the college is pretty good. I really suggest for someone who is good in studies must go for it. here strict rules and academic performance make this college as one of the best in the Uttar Pradesh. In fact, several societies in this college make it as an attracting point and conduction of several events, fests, competition etc are several among reasons for opting this college.

The course structure of AKTU is fixed means it doesn't change according to the changing environment..they keep the syllabus same as before. but the subjects are good..it let us think more and more thus enhance our research abilities which are very helpful in terms of further studies.. The elective subjects are good too in the curriculum of AKTU course which also covers all of the research subjects.

Placement Cell: companies like Bosch, Infosys, Amazon came to our college, although I haven't met any of them! since I'm in 3rd year but I heard of them that most of the companies came to our college and hire students. Generally, CS/IT and EC students get hire, when talking to non-CS/IT the placement criteria for these non-CS/IT students is pretty low. Only a few of them get hired in the interview and other most of them start preparing for higher studies like PSU's, GATE, IES etc. As per the criteria, this year 2017-18 75% percent of the students gets placed of CS/IT branch. The highest package was of 10 lac/annum which is pretty good when talking to AKTU college.

The College has several societies which conduct maximum 10-11 events every semester. Events are only handled by the Society member after getting approval from the Director. Events such as Coding fest, Poster making competition, debate, mushayara etc are conducted in the college.

The fee structure are decided by the AKTU itself which is quite high i guess. you have to pay maximum of 1.25 lac/annum ..and hostel fee is quite high which is 1,05,000 for first year students which includes 2 seater rooms..And 2nd 3rd and 4th year fees are 95K/year for triple seater rooms.. according to me the fee structure is quite expensive.

Scholarships are available for the minorities, or the toppers or for the fee waiver students who have applied it at the time of counseling. Students whose parents income is less than 2 lac/annum got this scholarship. Talking about the loan facilities: several banks offer education loan to the students with a minimum interest rate.

Campus life is just awesome i mean Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College has one of the finest infrastructure in Delhi Ncr region infact one of the movie has been shooted there.. Gender ratio is good when it comes to CS, IT and ECE..but number of girls is Mechanical engineering is quite few. Labs are good when it comes to CS/IT. Sports Events are conducted every semester. Various robotics societies are there which conduct all robotics events in the college.

Hostel facilities are good here..they provide a good facilities when it comes to hostel..1st year students have a separate fine class, ventilated rooms, open air environment which makes your best first year to live here....but the food is not soo good..as compared to senior boys hostel. 2nd 3rd and 4th year hostels have a delicious food which is eatable.. all hostel have gym, TV rooms, Sports room, open badminton court.

Senior Students are very helpful when it comes to college related issue..infact they make a regular contact to the juniors in there societies.. if i face any problem regarding anything then i frequently ask the seniors for such query.

When talking about exam structure- 3 exams are conducted in every semester not including externals.. On the first month of very semester Session Test-1 is conducted which comprises of 25 marks.. after that Session Test-2 is conducted which comprises of 50 marks, it is mostly conducted in the 3rd month on the beginning of every semester and after that the final exam means Pre University Test which is conducted in the last months of every semester before the externals which comprises of 70 marks.. and also internals are decided on the basis of these exams that is Sessionals and PUT's

I got this college from UPSEE exms which is conducted in Uttar Pradesh every year for the graduation and post graduation degrees which include B.Tech and several other courses. after getting the result as qualified i go for the counselling, where i lock several colleges, i got this one.

The infrastructure of this college is pretty awesome..its had been more than two years walking on these stairs, classes, campus! Coming to its academic: The faculties are well educated, helpfull and frank (some of them), the only problem that i face is of attendance issue, means if you have your attendance even less than 75% you'll get debarred from the ST's which will effect your internals..but we cover them till PUT's ..
