Course Curriculum Overview
The communication and Computer Engineering branch is a bit of combination of both ECE and CSE and thus almost every company that comes for CSE allows CCE students also. The faculty:student ratio is great and the faculties are very well qualified from top institutions of not only India, but across the world. The term examinations happen at the fixed schedule and it usually happens every 4 months.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. The details of the companies that visit are given on the website. Some notable names are Samsung, BNY Mellon, Adobe, Make My Trip, OYO, etc. Other details are on the college website.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is quite high. The first year batch has to pay almost 23L for 4 years of BTech and there's a 10% hike annually as per the college. There are various merit based or need based scholarships and assistantship available though.
Campus Life
The campus size is small. The infrastructure isn't upto the level of the fee they take. College life is good. We've annual tech, cultural and sports fest held during the month of January and February. The tech fest is Plinth, the sports fest Desportivos and the cultural fest Vivacity and they are held in the same order during Jan-Feb. The library has good amount of books available related to the academics. The sports and extra curricular activities are satisfactory and not upto the level of a regular sports person. We've lots of clubs and societies here and the majority are student-driven. We have 7 Technical clubs and 11 Cultural clubs and various other societies and student chapters like ASME, IEEE, SAE,NSS,etc.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are pretty good when you compare it to top NITs or IITs. The mess food is satisfactory too. The hostel and mess fee are taken along with the tution fee and the total cost is around 60k per semester. It is a residential campus so hostel and mess facility is mandatory for everyone. Special exceptions are allowed to stay outside which includes day scholars too. But the college is in the outskirts so very rarely someone opts to stay out of the campus.
Admission
The admission is taken in the basis on JEE Mains score and it's a totally merit based process. There's no reservation or management quota. The application form and other details are available on the college website.
