Course Curriculum Overview

2

I chose this course to be able to work in tech companies like google, microsoft. There is alot of scope in this field. Honestly, in any colege either it be of top or okay okay college, there is no studies doen in college. The syllabus is so much that those few teachers who are best are not able to complete and tey tru to rush it. And most of te teachers are not quite good. You cant always rely on college, you need to refer other study platforms (mostly youtube). there is one teacher teaching to 60-70 students in a class. The university exams are not easy and subjects are very difficult with lots of syllabus. So you need to study timely and work hard so you dont get back in any subjects.

Internships Opportunities

3

There are a lot of internships which comes and you can opt for them. They first train you in that field you opted and then gives you task to complete it under the time limit. The stipened depends on the companies and the work you do.

Placement Experience

2.5

Placements are great but it all depends on your hardwork. Most of the highly profiled companies take ony 1 or 2 best students. My plan is to do a job for almost 2-3 years after getting a degree. and then after gaining the experience will think about the higer studies

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees of all the Ip university are budget friendly.. until you are not living in delhi, because the pg's rent, food, travelling might increase the cost of the course but still it is far much better than private universities. there it can reach upto 25-30 lakhs in todays time.

Campus Life

3.5

Life at the campus is great. We have so many societies for different extra curriculars and for your overall growth. The mega event of our colleg is ANUGGONJ fest which helds in February for 3 days every year in Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University where all the colleges students of Ipu can come and enjoy.

Admission

i gave the entrance exam of jee mains under which almost all the colleges are covered. I wanted to opt for btech in computer science and i wanted to get admission in IP university. After I got the result of jee mains entrance exam, on ipu website created my id and entered all the neccesary details (10, 12 result, jee main result of both the exams, and also the preferences of my courses). Then the rounds started where according to my result and my preferences the college was to be\\ or float(you want to explore more and wait for other rounds for teh upgradation). If you float then the previous college is still there with you until you freeze it or pay the registration amount. And then onece you take teh college then the admission process starts where they call ypu to the college with all the important documents.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

So placement cell is not present in college because of low intake of students but the students are very skilled to crack Gsoc , and other internship opportunities which lands them into big company. Also very good alumni network is present in college which boosts the placement of college.

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
