Good strict entertaining

No bad remarks. The campus is very good. The only bad remark is about the JNTUK curriculum.

I took EAMCET and got 17561 rank (72 marks out of 160). It is the best college in my locality so I chose it. I can get bit more reputed colleges for my rank but they are not in my locality. So I chose Vignan's IIT.

Our college follows JNTUK curriculum which focuses more on marks and grades and less on research and knowledge. Our curriculum changes every 3 years. I really hope the next curriculum will focus more on research rather than marks and grades. Scoring good marks is very easy in JNTUK syllabus when compared to AU syllabus.

Our college provides very less number of internships. Coming to a stipend, we have to pay a fee for joining internships. No stipend nothing, we only get a completion certificate.

Placements are damn good in our campus for CSE and IT students. No other core companies will visit. If you want to join our campus, I strongly suggest you join in CS/IT stream. The last year Microsoft visited our campus for placements and took 11 of our seniors with a package of 11 LPA. Microsoft never visited any campus in Visakhapatnam.

Fees are 1,00,000 in which Govt pays 35,000 and we have to pay remaining 65,000 and 10,000 building fund every year. Its bit high. Poor cant pay that much fees. But our college provides fees concession for students who stood in top ranks in semester exams. Additionally, we have to pay 15,000 in the 3rd year for CRT training.

Our college provides fees concession for merit students. No loan facility available. Fees concession will be provided for those who stood in the top of semester exam results.

Campus life is amazing in Vignan. The gender ratio is closed 1:1. Not like other colleges or universities, student diversity is well managed in our campus. We live in the harmonious environment within the campus. No political/religious/Economical influences at all.

I'm not a hostel student but I have friends who live in the hostel. They said they'll rate hostel 7 out of 10. The food is tasty but they always repeat the items. They have chicken biryani every Sunday. Coming to canteen food, it is very tasty. I loved it. No bad remarks at all about canteen food.

Seniors are very close to us. They help us in every aspect including teaching us subjects. They always provide useful information about exams, extracurricular activities and etc.

Exam structure is joyful. We have mid exams in the middle of our semester and mid and semester exams at the end. Its not too much right?. We can clear exam just by studying overnight(that's what all engineering students do). We don't have any exams pressure and can concentrate on extracurricular activities.

We have to first download the rank card when results declared. Then we have to attend the certificate verification with all original documents and then we have to set our preferences of colleges and streams from any net cafe. Then when seat allocation is done, we will get sms describing our seat allocated college and stream. We have download allotment order from EAMCET website and appear at college.

Most of the faculty are very good at what they do. But yeah, there are some faculty who don't even know what they are doing. We've complained about them many times but no action was taken at all. There are many faculty members who have Ph.Ds and degrees from more than 1 stream.
