Course Curriculum Overview
I was very much intrested in CSE but due to the rank constraints, this branch(ECE) chose me Coming to the faculty few of them are very talented and the tools required during the learning process were made available for us (tool licenses) . When compared to other collages the exams here will be mainly based on applications and a bit tough. But there are few faculty sitting in a higher position doesnt have keen knowledge on the subject itself . But yes there are few exceptional teachers being assistant professors.
Placement Experience
Students can start engaging in the campus from the 7th semester i.e 4th year and can get a chance for internships in the 5th semester . Internships in take percentage is very very less. Many of the high package jobs were off the campus . The on campus in take percentage is as low as 27 percent
Fees and Financial Aid
Well regarding the fee structure our state govt provides free education to those who are able to achieve a rank under 10000 in the state entrance examination. The regular fees used to be 1.31 lakh but from the coming academic year it is going to be increased to 1.41 approximately which is too high for this collage. The placed candidates percentage also decreased drastically.
Campus Life
The library has enough material for the students to learn . The classrooms are a bit old fashioned but are maintained pretty well. Our collage doesnt have any scope regarding sports and cultural fests . Very poor engagement in fests. There are few clubs which are useful for the students as well.
Admission
When the entrance exams results were made public , We can start opting for different collages in the city based upon the cutoff rank. To get a seat in our collage (vasavi collage of engineering) there are two ways , one is considering the eamcet rank and the second one is based on upon the category rank of jee mains. The cutoff ranks for each branch are mentioned in our collage www.vce.ac.in.
