All about IIITA

I choose this course because first of all this college is very famous for its coding culture. And on the other hand it has one of the best placements in our country. IIITA has around 120 faculty in total and intake per year is around 450. All teachers are well qualified like they have their phd degree from IITs. Teaching method is also good. But this college is relatively more hectic than any other engineering colleges. From this year new education policy is adopted by this college so we have two exams one is mid term and other is end term. Apart from that they take some quizzes in between. You can pass easily in all subjects. But if you want to score good cgpa then you have to study hard.

Companies like Atlassian, sprinkler, wallmart, zomato, phonepe, some startups and so on. Around 70+ companies every year come to hire intern. In genral they offer roles as software developer, optimisation engineer, web developer, etc. Main criteria to clear is first you must know dsa enough and have one soft skills like web development, aiml, etc. You must have projects related to your soft skills.

In 4th year companies start visiting for campus placements. Many companies have visited like google, microsoft, zomato, sprinkler, Atlassian, etc. We have around 92% placement here. Highest package was 1.4 crore last year which was off campus. If we will talk about on campus then 82.5 lakh which was given by Atlassian. I am also planning to have job after degree as of now.

Fees is around 1.2 lakh for one semester including hostel and mess fees. For general and obc category there is no any scholarship. For sc/st category they have scholarship on tution fees. There is no any inside campus stipend for b tech course.

There are 3 fests in total, girst one is effervescence which is the cultural fest and it is organised in october of every year for 4 days which is very exciting. Second one is aparoksha which is techincal fest in month of march or april. Third one is ashmita which is sports fest in month of February. On regular interval of time they conduct inter iiit also sports meet also. Library is well equiped with all kind of books and one can study there also in a outsanding infrastructure. Classroom is centrally air conditioned and well furnished. We have 2 grounds for sports events in our college, on an average level all sports facilities are also available. Thete is a student activity centre where we have music club, dance club, indoor sports room, which are also good enough. We have music society(virtuosi), dance club(geneticx), media society(AMS), drama society (rangtarangani), creative society(nirmiti). We have a student body named as gymkhana. Also there is a ngo( prayas).

In the room we have a bed without mattress, an almirah, a stdy table with night lamp. In one room there are 2 students accomodated. Room is big enough for first year and average sized for seniors. Breakfast here is well enough and lunch and dinner are average. If you are taking admission then you have to stay in their hostel only. Registration process is done with admission only.

If you want to get admisssion in this college then you have to go through JEE mains examination. In the examination if tou will score around 99.3+ percentile then you will get ECE in this college and if 99.6+ percentile then IT ( this is for general category). Generally this exam is conducted in two attempts, first one in january and the other one in april of every year by NTA. After clearing JEE mains examination, you have to do counselling with josaa where according to your score, you will be provided with this college if you will opt for it. Admission process is also good enough.
