An amazing experience at jssate

College is good, you can prefer it above any private college in up but try to get some other good college in places of it like IIT, NIT, BITS, VIT, SRM, and aktu should be your last preference.

I gave an entrance named upsee which is conducted every year for admission to colleges affiliated to aktu university. I got 350 marks out of 420 and a rank near to 400. I opt for jss as i reviewed various sites and came to know that it is best private college affiliated to aktu that one can opt for.

I took Btech computer science engineering as a course. It is a brilliant course keeping in mind the future aspects of this course. This course will have great future prospects and will be a tremendous demand in future due to new developments in this field like artificial intelligence, data science. It will have great employment opportunities in future.

Talking about job and placement opportunities, there is an ample number of companies visiting our college for placement every year and most of the students get placement offers. But the harsh reality is that there are less placement in core branches but students of core branches do get placed in IT companies.

There are various events in our college which are organized by students themselves. There are numerous societies like computer science, mechanical and other course-related and others related to dance, music, nukkad natak etc. There is a sports event named mytri organized by students itself and there is a provision of dj night in an event. You will definitely enjoy your life.

There is no loan facility by the college but there us a scholarship given by up government for which you can apply for.

Campus life is good. It is 26 acre lush green campus and there are no restrictions but you need to maintain 75% attendance. The gender ratio is quite balanced. Labs are in good condition and operable. There are various student societies in which you can participate according to your area of interest.

Seniors are quite helping and are ready to help you anytime. Alumni network us not that good but it is ok.

The exams are somewhat frequent. There will be 2 semesters in an academic year. In 1 semester you will have to give 1-semester exam and 2 internal exams and 1 pre-university test, conducted by the college itself. You will also have to give lab internals as well as externals.

After declaration of upsee result, ranks are provided to students on basis of their marks and then they can fill up the counselling form of aktu. This form is to be filled online for all govt. And private colleges under aktu. You have to provide counselling fee of 20000 for general category which will be adjusted along with your collefe fees in case you get the admission and would be refunded in case you didn't get. You get college according to your rank and preferences ypu filled in counselling form. If you are satisfied with your college then you need to visit that coolege for further procedures.

Talking about the faculty, you will find half of them coming from south india due to the roots of our college being in the south region. Talking about their qualification, most of them are PhD and mtech in their respective field and have adequate knowledge of the subjects but do not expect something extraordinary from them as they will teach you only what is in your curriculum and nothing extra.
