Remarks about this would be, its a good college which can offer you a good peace of mind due to its vast and green campus . This is a place where you can add originality to your thoughts and ideas(they really encourage good talent)

I have given AEEE(Amrita Entrance) and got 378 rank. I am from Andhra pradesh and so I belong to non-local quota and I am very much interested in Computer science. I have tried for IIT but then slipped to Amrita but I never had that regret.

The curriculum would definitely encourage new talents and ideas. I am a part of Amuda lab of Amrita which have you to give life to your ideas. The curriculum is very dynamic and almost every year the syllabus gets updated to match the pace of the outside world. Many projects on IOT, Android development etc go on parallel and would add an awesome feeling to learning experience.

Yes, actually I am writing this review after my internship at AMUDA lab in amrita Coimbatore campus. You cant expect any stipend if you are in 2 or 3 rd yr. but it will definitely add a new dimension of your thinking on the way of learning.

Placements are well and good and Students of Amrita are preferred even on off-campus placements. The average package would be around 6-8lpa but a merit can earn upto 20lpa There are a lot of core companies that come to hire the CSE students but a very few but also key companies come for on-campus placements for the students of other branches

After you get into the campus the first event that would be celebrated is Gokulastami which is celebrated like a grand festival and would definitely make you fall in love with the campus and then a series of other events like the induction events of many of the clubs that are in amrita and then Key festivals like Onam , Ugadi are also celebrated with grandeur and the last event that one would see is Anokha (you will love it) - the tech fest of Amrita

The fee structure is 220000 per annum, Its a little bit expensive but loans are available so it is payable You can't pay offline and have to pay online and also you can't pay in installments You need to pay the entire amount for the year at the start of that academic year and the scholarship(if any) will be given after a month or two.

I got 378 rank in the entrance examination and I was offered with 50% scholarship on tuition fee. They have some sanskrit name for that scholarship but that doesn't matter. You get a good rank then a Scholarship is waiting for you. Also loan facility is available through Dhanalakshmi Bank

When I entered into this campus I was with a thought that girls are to be called as "mata" which is later anyways proved to be false and is just a myth. A friendly behavior is always accepted but anything out of limit will attract serious action. Campus life is filled with entertainment and would never make anyone bored. Gender ratio is around 3:1(3- boys ,1- girls ). Having a lot of clubs you can always get into an event thrice a week.

The hostel feel is around 40k when I got into this university.(2016) The mess fee is around 50k when I got into this university.(2016) This fee is for the entire year It still remains the same and a disclaimer is that you cant expect great taste but you can definitely trust the quality of what is provided in here. No non-veg and fries are only one per week It would take a semester to get habituated for the food but later on you can easily adjust. Non-veg is not allowed in the campus

At the start they would show off but then they are the best you can always look up to. I have seniors who help me throughout my projects and always have a helping hand even when they are physically present.

Amrita follows Continuous assessment (CA) and so we have frequent test throughout the semester but it would not make you day any hectic, it just builds the sense of sincerity in you and sometimes may get you extra marks. Lab classes are generally once per week but you can creep in whenever you can find it free.

By AEEE, Counseling procedure: 1. We need to preserve the hall ticket signed by the invigilator at the time of exam 2. If good rank is achieved, Amrita sends councelling letter to your registered email, take a print-out from it 3. See the counselling date and reach out to a near-by Amrita college(you can attend any campus for admission in any campus) 4. Reach the college a day before to be on time (accommodation will be given) 5. Also bring 10th class and +2 certificates mentioned in the counselling letter(along with xerox copies). 6. Also bring passport and stamp sized photographs and also DD for amount specified in the counselling letter 7. With these in hand the admission process would be smooth

Many professors are from various international universities. But we also have teachers from local universities. They are well knowledgeable and would always be available to students. Any doubts will be clarified then and there. They aren't proud of their knowledge and would definitely get back to you if they are unaware of the solution to your doubts. They also care about the students
