- Placements at nitw are so good. Nitw holds very good record of placements percentage irrespective of branch of students.
- Culture at Nitw is pleasant and helpful. All the peers and seniors help each other and grow together in all aspects of life.
- Campus of nitw is near and clean.The campus is maintained with hygiene.
Dislikes
- Mess food here at Nitw is not so good.Sometimes it's worse.
- Schedule of classes is hectic when it comes to complete assessments, records, preparing for several tests regarding academics.
- Campus at nitw is vast but fewer is used in order to run campus. I feel that the overall area must be correctly maintained and used.
Course Curriculum Overview
As I got the mechanical as the best choise ap per my rank,I chose to do it. Generally the faculty:student ratio is 1:50. Faculty of Nit Warangal are highly qualified and do have a good profile. But their teaching methods are not as good as required in some cases.Coming to term exams , the frequency is good,not congested.
Internships Opportunities
I am in 2nd year of mechanical engineering.I am interested in coding and programming.I am here at Nitw mechanical because of my rank.I was always interested in persuing my career in CSE. As I am in early stage of learning and excelling my skills, I look forward to put myself in a comfortable position where I am having an internship in my dream company.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fees and hostel fees are transparent. Scholarships are given to needy for sure.It takes a small extra amount to account other needs.I did not get any scholarship or campus job.As I come under category of income below 1 lakh,I don't pay tution fees.
Campus Life
Techfest of NITW is Technozion which is generally conducted in the month of December. Cultural fest is scheduled in spring which is widely popular as SpeingSpree. We have a gigantic library with thousands of books and hundreds of journals. Our library is one of the greatest asset of our institute. Our classrooms are good in the sence of basic amenities like space, ventilation,healthy environment etc. Classrooms are equipped with projectors and white screens. Lot of clubs are active in college to maintain the cultural prospect in the college and to make students feel good about other activities.
Hostel Facilities
I am in a hostel block built recently. It is called as Azad Hall of residence. I am 2nd year student, generally 2nd year students are allotted with rooms in different campus hostel blocks. All the 1st year students are allotted to Ultra Mega hostel which has capacity of holding 1800 students. Registration process and hostel affordability are not a big problem regarding nitw. Hostel fees are around 14k each semester.
Admission
After writing jee mains through josaa councelling I opted for this institute(mechanical engineering) along wither other options.I am alloted with this seat according to priority.Then after completing online formalities , I need to take care of offline formalities like documents needed,pre requisites etc .I had a ews reservation ,but I am alloted seat in general category itself.There is a need of bridging within college and students for admission to make freshers feel comfortable and clear about admission process.
