High Infrastructure College

There are both ways we can describe our college. It has rich infrastructure but as there are many students it is hard to sustain there

I've written GAT exam which is an entrance test for admission in Gitam University. I scored 7512 rank and had the option to choose all the branches.

The course structure in gitam is good. In the first and second semesters, we've gone through 11 subjects and 6 labs. Though it's plenty it is the beginning year for engineering and it is the easy semester to score much grades. Next semester onwards we've been through 6 subjects each semester till 6th semester.

In our college internships are provided for all the students irrespective of the branches. But the bad luck is we have to search for the interns across the MNC's and in the college on campus only for computer science students gets interns that to only a few

Placements and job opportunities in gitam had been good in the previous years but now the percentages of students placed have been reduced due to more and more increasing of the student count.

Gusac carnival is the best and main event conducted by the gusac members. GEM is the main event conducted by the management students in the Gitam college. The others branches like mechanical, pharmacy, biotech mems also conduct their individual events and fests

The fee structure in the Gitam college is higher for its level and it's expensive. People can prefer other colleges better than these when compared with the fee aspect. Hostel fee is more expensive not at all worth for what they provide there. We can stay outside much happily and economically

A scholarship is provided only for the top students that to based on all the terms and conditions which are applicable for only a few

Sports competitions all are going on in our college but no one knows when they will happen and who will participate. The workshops and debates are organized well and will be useful for all the extra curriculum for the students. Students can use the KRC which is Knowledge Resource Centre.

Hostel fee is more expensive not at all worth for what they provide there. We can stay outside much happily and economically. The food in the hostel is like one can't predict whether it is good or bad. So it's better not to join in a hostel and the money is not at all worth of it

Interaction with the senior members is very good and very useful as we can learn many things from them. Interaction in a good way is good but in some different way may lead to unnecessary fights and disturbances

Exams in Gitam are totally different. 3mid examinations are conducted and the best among 2 are taken into count. Internal marks are of totally 40 Mark's which is total avg of mid examinations and the 10 marks are for attendance and the assignments. The remaining 60 Mark's are of an external exam which is total of 100 marks and are converted through credits and total of 10 points

I scored 7512 rank in the Gitam entrance exam and i had option to choose all the branches . I preferred to take electronics and communication engineering branch. My next options are Computer science engineering and Electronics Instrumentation engineering branch. I've got Electronics and communication branch so I opted for it

The quality of education and infrastructure in Gitam is damn good. We have many resources in our college to go on practically. Lab equipment is rich and all the facilities in the labs are high and good but the labs aren't as much as expected to gain good knowledge
