Course Curriculum Overview
I always wanted this course as I have a keen interest in cyber security which I will opt in as a specialization. Faculty to student ratio is horrible, such are the conditions that, only day scholars can sit in classes during day and they have to schedule separate classes for hostelers in the evening from 4:30 to 9:00 pm, the teaching staff is also not from college. They have hired trainers from a company named Hitbullseye. Those trainers don't even bother to teach us, they just pretend they are teaching and when we complain, they say we are the one who are not interested in studies. The timing of exams is horrible, always unorganised and always on weekends never on workdays. Exams are easy to pass in even if you study before a week.
Internships Opportunities
As of now there is no internship offered to anyone in my batch. The companies which hire as interns usually start hiring from 3 semester. These are the same companies that hire them as employees. Some sort of pre placement type
Placement Experience
From 5 semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companis that visit are IBM, TCS, Microsoft, Meta etc. Almost 80-90% get placed. My plan is to secure a placement in a god company. If you guys are looking for someone please make an exception.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee is hiked always for the upcoming batch. No fee hike for already enrolled students. For us it is 85000 per sem, and for our junoirs it is 100000 per sem, which seems to be a lot high. No scholarship, financial assistance and definitely no job until now.
Campus Life
One of the annual fest is Freshers held around October every year. Books are generally available in library. Amenities depends upon your course, the more is your fee, the more you get. Almost no sports or extracurricular which I get to attend as my day is hectic, same goes for social clubs, groups and websites.
Admission
Eligibility criteria are a minimum of 60% of marks in class 12th. Application forms can be found on the university website, there is no particular application fee or dates. I think they need to increase the percentage of eligibility criteria.
