- Campus is gery secure. There is no ragging or discrimination and all workers here are cooperative.
- Teachers are good at teaching and they know teir stuff.
- A college that can give a good placement opportunity for those who didn't go to IIT or NIT. What else do i need to loke this college.
Dislikes
- Hostel can be much more better with proper rules at place. It is quite irritating at night when i have to hear many noise outside my toom.
- I would like it if we had a bigger college campus cause it is very small compared to other colleges.
- There is restriction on our movement for going in and out of college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose BTech in CSE because it was my dream to develop gaes and websites and am very interested in doing it. I would say the faculty student ration is quite low compared to other colleges like IIT as there are 3-4 teachers per 100 students which is quite high. All of our teachers are highly qualified as they are all professors with having fone a PHD or doing it currently. Their teaching methods are also quite fine and interesting. Exams were, I dare say were moderately difficult and maybe happening a little too fast. For example they happend only 20 days after starting our new semester but very easy enough for most to pass but difficult enough for only brilliant ones to top.
Placement Experience
Our college offers on campus placement with many big companies like google, microsoft, amazon, flipcart, infosys etc. coming here for recruitment. Almost everyone gets place though not all get good placement. So we must study hard.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees here is quite a bit high and cost for studying may differ for each but is quite low for me. Like you have to pay about 2-3 lakh for most b Tech courses here. Scholarship is givenonly to top 200 students in SRMJEE, the exam conducted by the SRM University, so you don't usually have much financial assistance.
Campus Life
Life at campus is as better as it can be. I would rate it 10/10 stars. The annual fest here is RUBAROO conducted in april for around a whole week with many activities happening here and there. Library here is big and comfy, you can study everything here comfortably. Classroom have proper ventilation system and air conditioning and biometric attendance system. It is also equipped with smart boards. Social groups and vlubs in our college are kalamgiri, magan, coring societry, aarzoo etc.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is well quite decent i would say. Now I can't say its good cause it is never gonna be perfectly as good as home's comfort. You have big enough rooms and bathrooms are clean and in good condition. Registration process is easy. Anybody can do it easily. Meals are good but somtimes they may not taste good due to salt or sugar imbalance.
Admission
Firstly we were required to give an exam and clear it for admission process. Other criteria for eligibility was atleast 60% in 10+2 exam. Can apply gor afmission process by applying for SRMJEE on official srmist website( the fee required is very less atound 500). You can usually apply after the jee main 2nd exam every year for different exam dates as per your choice. As for any sort of improvement i would say please redesign the exam giving procedure as anybody can cheat during exam for high marks. Like students should have to go to a test centre for exam to prevent any unfair means.
