Read before taking admission in CIT, Tumkur

I gave CIT-EEE management examination held in Assam and I score above 90+ in 120 and they shortlisted for admission.

The college provide internship opportunity opportunities. But it's very rare or less. Time to time some companies give internship program for student. But it's depends on the quality of the student.

The campus placement of this college is about 0.1% . Only some small IT companies give placement here. You never join this college thinking of placement. If you want campus placement never join this college. The main reason for not coming recruiter is that the college is situated in far place and student quality also not up to the mark. But if you very good at your respective branch then you'll definately got placed.

College annually conduct inter-college cultural fest known as FLAIR. Apart from it each department conduct intra and inter college technical symposium. The events are not so big nor small. It's depends how college management and particular department work for that particular event.

The college fees structure is not so high but it's less than about 1 lacs for branches like Civil, EEE, ECE ,ISE but more than 1 lacs for CSE, Mechanical and sometimes for other branches. It you get admission here always take free structure else they'll increase it every year and you've nothing to go against them.

College not offers any scholarships. But you can take loan by showing college bonafide and fees structure to bank. But conduct CIT-CAT for giving free admission in CIT.

Here except mechanical all the other branches have girl is to boy ratio is 2:1. Girl is more than boys. But in mechanical girl and boy ratio is nearly 1:100 Here not so much extra curricular activities. In campus there is no racism in any area. Everyone minding there own business, non of others. In a year only one cultural activity takes place in even semester. But branch wise technical events also conducted for both inter and intra college. The college has workshop and give Vocational training Program. But it's depends on student that they want to take or not.

My experience with the college seniors is good. They talk nicely. There is nobody came to show seniority. Because they know well if you're a senior try to good senior. They share their knowledge and experience with us. But there is no interaction session or we meet alumni in this college.

College conducts 3 internals for each Laboratory and each theory paper. Then one External Examination for both lab and theory. First theory internal takes place after 1 and half months from starting the semester. Then 2nd takes place just after one month and similarly 3rd. Lab internal takes place after completion of each cycle and 3 rd one takes place just after our before 3rd theory internal.

Step 3: I gave exam Step 4: I got result and got required cut-off Step 5: I go for admission. Step 6: They checked all the marksheet Step 7: I take a branch and complete admission and took all the bonafide, fees structure. The college take admission through, CIT- CAT, State CAT and management examination. Economically background student from Karnataka then then you can give the CIT-CAT examination then you'll get free admission in any of 6 offered UG Course. They didn't consider JEE marks. For Diploma students they get lateral entry by giving state diploma entrance exam.

The college faculty are good and nicely interact with the students. 98% facilities are with M.Tech. or M.E. degrees and 1.5% are Ph.D. degree holder and only 0.5% have B.E. or B.Tech. degrees. This percentage are estimated but nearly equal. All the teacher has good knowledge respective to their subjects and they're dedicated.
