My hostel is too far from classroom hence I have to travel 1.5 km either ways upslope and downslope to reach college which Is very taxing

Term exams were moderately difficult. Not too easy not very hard as well. If you studied every topic thoroughly from course material it wouldn't be too hard to score well. Also you should solve some pyq as well

Fees and Financial Aid

I am still in first year as of now. Studying in 2nd semester so there is no job or placement scenario as of now. But since my mother is a MAHE alumni I am getting 10% off in terms of my tuition fees..

Campus Life

There are lot of student clubs and student projects like entrepreneurship cell formula manipal manipal hackathon robo manipal aero manipal economics cell technical clubs coding clubs iaeste webpage development manipal etc

Hostel Facilities

My room is a decent sized single person room with an attached bathroom. Meal quality is also decent. Hostel has lifts and rooms are cleaned every other day. I have a godrej a shelf a study table a bed solar powered bathing water supply and filter water available on every floor.

Hostel Fee: INR 150000 per year

Admission

Eligibility of course: 50% or more in class 12 in boards. Rank in MET should be enough for the cutoff Application form, fees and other details can be found on manipal/mahe website. No reservation benefits have been taken by me.

Placement stats are pretty good, offers above 50LPA have also been granted to students, but they are not as common. With a good cgpa, 5+ LPA can be ensured. Students from 6th sem become eligible for placements, companies such as TI, Apple, Daimler Trucks etc have come for placements

MIT Manipal owns engineering!

Admission here are very consistent and just two methods. No other method works here as MIT Manipal has very clear plans. Either you can qualify through Manipal Entrance Test or JEE scores but 90 percentile is required. So it is tough as engineering seats in MIT Manipal maybe high but competition to be in top 1000-1200 means competing with nearly 100k students....Read More

MIT Manipal is awesome!

For B.Tech courses, Manipal Entrance Test is conducted by the college and students on the score and ranking are alloted branch. CSE and AI are taken by top rankers and then mid rankers can take our branch. However, first choice is always with the students. MIT Manipal is super tech savvy!

In MAHE or MIT Manipal the university only accepts their own entrance scored as JEE qualifications and all have very limited seats.
