Likes
- Decent Campus Life, the location of the college is very good. Everything available in near distance.
- Some of the faculties are very good. Highly experienced and knowledgeable.
- Placements for the core sector is good which is a very positive news.
Dislikes
- Not great in infrastructure. There is no central building for Mechanical Engineering Branch.
- Very bare minimum sports facilities. The admin is not that supporting in case of attendance.
- Very less support in modern fields and technologies for interested students.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is fairly updated but still not that good. Some subjects are interested but others mostly boring. Sometimes you might feel why are you even doing this. The faculties are highly experienced in their field. Some of them are very good in explaining things but others are mostly boring.
Internships Opportunities
Both research and corporate internships are available for the students of 3rd year. Companies such as TVS, ONGC etc provide internship. Though not everyone gets an internship but the college helps in providing the deserving students.
Placement Experience
Placements are fairly good. Mostly for the core sector. Though the packages are not that high but you still get something out of the placements. Not many PSU's come for placements but the ones that come give a very good package to a few students.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Fees is low in comparison to the Private colleges. Scholarship opportunities are available but since there is a Fierce competition it's very tough to avail such sponsorships. Mostly it's easier for the students of the same state to get such scholarships.
Campus Life
The clubs are good but there is not much funding. Most of the times they have to depend on sponsorships. But the clubs provide a great opportunity in improving your social life. You can explore different field and meet new people and learn so much from them.
Hostel Facilities
It's easy to get hostel accomodation. Some of the hostels are pretty good but others are not even worth living. The hostels are pretty old and most of things broken. But we can't expect much from Hostels as long as they are able to provide the bare minimum.
Admission
The entrance exam I took was JEE Mains. It has a vast syllabus. Once the results of the exam was out I had to apply for college admission through JOSAA where I select the colleges and courses I'm interested in. And once the results are out I had the physical report to the centre which I was alloted. The admission process is long.
