The best thing I can say about Vignan is 'It is the best place for students to use the different resources provided in the campus.' But it's completely depends on the students interest. For anything there will be a pros and cons in the same way there are few in our university too which feels students as hectic and difficult few times. But at the end of the day one can proudly say that they are VIGNANITE. University management may appear in different ways but their response or behavior will be based on student only.

I'm from BiPC background. I have joined VFSTR deemed to be university through intermediate IPE marks. I scored 996 marks in my intermediate and I opted Biotechnology branch as I'm from BiPC background and interested to do research for further and I got to know that there are best faculty for biotechnology in VFSTR. So I have opted here. Fee is also reasonable when compared to the surrounding Universities.

The curriculum for R13 batch (i.e., for me) is good. We have 5 core subjects and 3 labs and a minor subject (Management, Humanity & Science, IT, ECE) for which there will be separate certificate given during graduation. The students who are interested in research can reach to the respective faculty based on their area of interest and work with the particular faculty (This purely based on the interest of students) and university sanction the seed Grant to the student for their project after proper evaluation. Now the present curriculum is R16 for which there will be 6 subjects and 6 labs i.e., lab for every subject which is the best one in which students can get practical experience along with the theoretical experience. The students of R16 also have life skills course in which students can opt different clubs and every Saturday will be having classes on different clubs for which credits will be awarded.

Yes. Students in Vignan are allowed to do Internship for one semester in their final year either in a research institute or in a company. Students can search and get their own Internship or else college authority will provide Internship in few if the reputed institutions or organisations. Few of my seniors did their internship in reputed organizations like DRDO, DFRL, IIT Bombay, Forensics lab Telangana govt. etc. Stipend varies for different organisations and few internships will be without any stipend. It gives an experience of a corporate environment and students can become industry ready professionals. Few students will get a job opportunity in the same company based on their performance during their internship.

Overall university placements will be more than 65%. Top companies like TCS, Hyundai Mobis, IBM, Hetero, Darwin box, Sutherland, FACE academy etc. will be visiting university. The package varies for each company. The package of TCS is 3.0 lakhs and package of Hyundai Mobis is 3.2 lakhs. The package of most of the companies is between 2.0 L to 3.0 L. Few students also got a package of 6.0 lakhs based on their knowledge. Coming to Biotechnology Dept. 100% placements are secured.

There are different events organizing in campus starting with Rejoice(for freshers to identify the talents) till Annual day (Utsav). Mahotsav is the national level technical fest happens in our University in a grand way in which students from different places participate and gain different exposure. There are different clubs and student bodies which organises different events. Entrepreneurship Cell is one of the best student body organizes different events to promote and nurture entrepreneurial cult in every student by calling successful entrepreneurs as a resource person. Students activities council (SAC) organizes different events related to university and celebrate different festivals within campus.

The fee structure varies from year to year. However there is a fee waiver for the students who scored well in their IPE or Eamcet. Fees varies for different departments also. The fees may seem to be little expensive but it's a considerable fee when compared to the surrounding Universities.

The students with good intermediate score and Eamcet rank will be provided fee waiver based on their score. However the students can also get scholarship based in their CGPA/percentage scored in their semesters. College also provide loan facility in Punjab National Bank or else students can also available loan facility in any bank based on them and management supports for it.

Campus life in Vignan is awesome. One can enjoy a lot in his own way but there will be few restrictions that shouldn't be crossed. There are different student bodies and clubs like artist club, photography, yoga, foreign language, taekwondo. so that student can excel in their interest and can develop their talents. There will be a better growth for the talented people. Vignan is the brand name for sports in that region. Students are allowed to participate in South zone competitions and in different universities. There are gender champions in University to eliminate the gender discriminations. Any student can directly walk to the management to solve their issues or else they can also go through the Grievance and redressal cell.

Hostel is the one of the best place for every student to learn many things apart from academics. The hostel rooms are good and food is also good. However I feel that quality of food in hostel declined from year to year whereas the fees for hostel is increasing. There are many PG's nearby the university in a walkable distance but I suggest to be in University hostel because of it's security and it is within the university campus.

One can learn and be the best by taking advise from seniors. It's in a student to interact with seniors and get involved with them. There is no particular alumni network but based on interest and needs of students they can get connected with the alumni in many ways.

The exam structure in Vignan is completely different from other colleges and universities. The internal marks will be awarded for 40 marks and external marks is for 60 marks. Internals include Weekly tests(16 marks), Mid exams(16 marks) and attendance (4 marks). There will be weekly test on every Monday and there will be a three mid examinations in a semester. For R16 batch there is a continuous assessment for every lab which makes students feel hectic but at the end students will gain something of them.

I got admission in VFSTR deemed to be University through Intermediate IPE marks. One can join in this university based on IPE score, Eamcet rank, IIT JEE rank and NEET ( BiPC students). Fee wavier is also available for the students who scored good in IPE or Eamcet or IIT JEE. I'm having 50% of fee waiver as I scored 966 in my IPE and the fee waiver cutoff score is changing from year to year and one can find the full details of fees and fee waiver in University website.

Most of the faculty here in VFSTR are doctorates and every faculty is post graduates. More than 50% faculty are from IIT, NIT, IIIT. Coming to my department 90% of faculty are doctorates from reputed universities and institutions. Teaching in Vignan is smart classes with projector in every class. There will be counsellor for set of students who guides students in all ways i.e., both personally and professionally. Students can do projects with concerned faculty based on their area of research interest.
