College cum school

College is Great in terms of education and Discipline with strict laws for students but it seems like you just passed your intermediate from a school and took admission in another school. College uniform, college timing, exam structure etc are things which I didn't like very much.

UPSEE where I scored around 11346 Rank at state level. I decided to choose this college only because it was no. 1 college in Lko in private sector. I chosen Btech because my parents guided me for this. Also, I had interest in Civil engineering thats why I took this. Admission process is based on the UPSEE exam which is conducted by AKTU in UP.

Btech course in Civil stream is one of the best branch of this college. College provided proper laboratories and libraries for efficient studying. This course provides 8 semesters for 4 years with around 40+ subjects and 20+ labs and several Tutorials, quizzes and end sems throughout the Year.

No, extent to my knowledge, this college doesn't provide any internship to any of the student or any stipend for any internship. But, I think there is a scope for internship in this college in future.

Frankly speaking, There is 2-3% placement in my branch, i.e civil branch and mechanical branch throughout the final year but, in computer science and Information technology stream, there is approximately 80-90% placement and job opportunities. Although owner of the college is a Civil engineer. That's the Irony.

There are mainly 4-5 events celebrated in this college. It starts from Fresher's party when session starts, then there is a Dandiya Nights in Navratri Festival, then there is a technical event named as Gantavya. A cultural festival is also celebrated which is Abhivyakti. In last days of college life, Farewell is given to 4th year students.

Fee structure as I told you earlier is a bit expensive for a middle class man to bear. Although I took an educational loan for my btech course and now I have to work hard to repay it back to the bank. Therefore, fee structure in not feasible and expensive too.

There is no such scholarship or any loan facility in the college itself, but there is scholarship scheme by state government of UP which can help you to pay your college fees up to some extent.

Campus life is great but disciplined under the strict observations of Hanuman sir. Gender ratio in CS, IT, electrical branches is 50-50 but in civil and mechanical, its 1:10. There are many types of sport facilities provided by college in college campus.

Since, I was a dayskey and living in Lucknow itself, but my friends were in hostel and they told me the hostel condition. Hostel is large enough to offer many students shelter but services in the Hostel is not upto the mark. Also the mess food is not much hygienic.

Since, I recently passed out my btech course, therefore I have little knowledge about the Alumni network but Senior students are awesome and helpful in various fields.

Exam structure is one of the most hectic structure in this college. There are quizzes which are conducted twice every week for each subject up to 3 cycles. Actually, this quiz is named only quiz, but its a 1 hour exam which consist of 30 marks and make internals. Also Mid sem and End seems are conducted at the end of each and every semesters.

AKTU released a circular in 2014 around march for UPSEE exams and filled a form for Exam. In april, exam was conducted and Ranks were declared where I scored 11k rank and took counselling organised by AKTU in various colleges. I chosen Rameshwaram college for counselling purpose and they provided me Ramswaroop college over my Rank in the Exam. I took admission in this College on Rank basis. They asked to submit various certificates in college during admission such as caste certificate, Intermediate marksheet, High sckool marksheet, and some stamp papers which consist of anti ragging declarations etc. After all this submissions, college fees was asked to submit As soon as possible. I took educational loan for my Btech course. After all this paper work, they provided me a college Identity card. Admission process was a hasty process which required a full day time period. Also, they provide admission directly without any Rank in UPSEE i.e. Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam. In case, if you forgot to give UPSEE exam or can't score a good rank in the Exam the there is a chance to get admission in the college easily. But, there is a difference between rank holders and common people. Rank holder get fee concessions in the admission fees whereas common people are made to pay full fee which includes some donations to the college. Also, some seats in college are reserved for Government quota on which student is allowed to study their respective course in free. This was all the admission process.

Faculty department is one of the specialty of this college among Many private colleges but according to me, I didn't liked the faculties if this college accept some teachers and professors. HoD of my department was Hardworking but having average knowledge in civil engineering.
