I had gone through the undergraduate course. So my class 12 results followed by an interview call. Met with the Vice e Principal and Dean. It was a very good experience meeting them and their encouragement to work hard and succeed in future.
Course Curriculum Overview
It emphasizes on all courses in the first year and second year. Electives are on the 3rd year. There are many students who pursue CA also. The whole curriculum was good and healthy learning atmosphere throughout. The electives had details on Tax and accounting. It made us prepare for the real world job scenario in the finance field.

College Events
There are a lot of events that are held. Xavostv, commerce conclave, and other events. Days of national pride like 15th Aug, 26 Jan etc are held with a lot of preparation and performance. During Xmas the whole college is decorated with lights and colors. It's pleasant to watch the building all colorful and decorated during that time.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees are very much feasible for all. There were subsidy options available for needy and scholarships for meritorious students. Other benefits are of railway concessions. I paid about 650 for a quarter.
Fees and Financial Aid
Loan facility is normally not taken as the fees are within reach of all students. I don't know about any scholarships awarded but there are fests and inter-college competitions held where people even won laptops.
Campus Life
I was in B. Com morning and it's a fully boys shift. B. Com evening is co-ed. Rest all courses of BSc, BA, M.com, MSc, MA all are co-ed. There is a strong extracurricular activity including sports of all kind, singing, and dancing, debate/drama etc.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities were good (I wasn't staying there but heard from friends). The hostel food was not that good. There are a lot of food options in Park Street and Theater road (about 5-10 mins distance). The canteen food was very good and healthy. Best selling were those of Sandwich (veg and non-veg) and Puri Sabji. Other items were coffee, biscuits, samosa, tea, water, fruit juice, etc.
Alumni/Alumna
There are an alumni connection website and office in college. All passing students are encouraged to be a part of the alumni membership group. You would find a Xavierian in most of the corporate houses and even govt. Offices in eastern India.
Exam Structure
It's a semester-based course with both internal and final exams. The exams are pretty tough and require a lot of work on a regular basis. The passing marks are 40% and each paper is of 50 marks. Lab work was only there for tally and financial excel. With daily updates and preparation, it's easy to get through the exam.
Admission
I had prepared from class 11 only for getting an admission in this college. The form was given online only in their website. Had to fill it up with all basic details and marks scored. The selection list was published on the website after a few days (date was announced earlier). Timing and date were given for the interview and documents required. It was an easy and quick process.
Faculty
The faculty members are all experienced and highly qualified. They have a thorough understanding of the course they are teaching. A friendly way of teaching with basic and practical examples (case studies) for an understanding of concepts. Participation in any discussion is always welcomed.
