Remarks

See the college overall is good. No such strict rules. the only bad thing about college is bad faculty and hectic exams

Entrance Preview

I wrote KCET and I scored 2336 rank in Karnataka. I chose as i was interested in both software and hardware

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is kind of OK. It is kind of old syllabus. It is outdated comparing the current technology. No proper research can be done doing only engineering. You have to go for MTech or MS to become technically strong for research. But overall we had nice learnings and some lecturers were very friendly and assessed us for success.

Internships Opportunities

No, our college doesn't provide the internship. As it doesn't provide internship there is no meaning of stipend. also no experience

College Events

3.5

Technical: IEEE, CYBERIA, LCC, Python Cultural: Ethnic day, College Festival, Shabd, Moto expo, Dance+ Management kind there were no such festivals as much as I remember. But all these festivals used to be in even semester. So Odd semester would be boring.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible. But the hostel is too expensive and foods are horrible. their cooks seriously cook without interest. It was a horrible experience with the food in the hostel. And other college expenses are feasible. But for Placements, they had taken 5000rs which I feel is an utter waste of money.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship was offered by my college. I used to get only one scholarship that too from my community for scoring good marks in 12th

Campus Life

4

The campus is pretty big. no gender discrimination. Many couples you could see there. It was unity in diversity. No such kind of extracurricular rather than Cyberia or Shabd. Labs were good. Sports were also good. we could participate wherever we would like.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

the hostel is too damn expensive and foods are horrible. their cooks seriously cook without interest. It was a horrible experience. They actually used to cheat us. Hostel rooms in the first 3 years were very bad. 4th year it was nice. Bathrooms wouldn't be clean. They used to wash it for a week which caused a bad smell.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors were pretty helpful. there was no such thing that they showed attitude or they ragged us or anything. They were kind to junior's

Exam Structure

Horrible. Literally horrible. There used to 2 tests every month total 5 events and one sem end exams. It made our life hell. literally hell. and there was a minimum score which u should cross to become eligible in sem end examination. Overall it was a bad experience regarding exam structure.

Admission

First there was seat allocation.. We had to select colleges based on our priorities. Then based on my rank i got SJCE and Branch as Electronics and communications. Then there was call for admission.. admission process didnt go smooth.. we had to wait for 2 weeks to get admitted to the college after all the political powers.

Faculty

3

The faculty is 20% Awesome. 80% is OK. Most of the faculty are alumni. who completed MTech from SJCE and joined as Trainee lecturers in SJCE. These are less known and rude. But some were really friendly and were practical They guided us well for the better career development
