Course Curriculum Overview
Nit Raipur syllabus is completely based on real life applications You will get subjects like applied physics and applied chemistry which can directly relate with daily life applications Practicals and lab classes facilities are quite good Overall i will rate nit raipur in terms of curriculum 8/10
Internships Opportunities
After 3rd yrr you have to go for some internship.it is compulsory as it has credits which you have to clear If you are from top branches like cs it ece and electrical you will get internship from college Below this branch you have to struggle to get off campus interships
Placement Experience
Placements is biggest postive factor of nit Raipur Is you have good cgpa around 8 and have some soft skills you will definately fetch placements no worries Every branch even mining, biotech has 80% on campus placement Off campus placement is also quite good . You will make many connections during college which can help in off campus Many alumini also help for the same
Fees and Financial Aid
If you are general student then you have to pay around 1.5 lakh per year(2 semester) which makes 5 lakh fees for 4 yr course which is quite good for btech Many scholarships are available when you will get in college you will get to know SC St have no fees only 8k per yr that too some amount is refundable
Campus Life
Clubs is a factor which made me regret my decision of choosing nit Raipur Fests are not good No dj nights only cultural fest (eclectia)has it College life is not good not even for hoteliers Hostel closing time for boys 9 pm for girls it's 9.30
Admission
You can get into nit Raipur by qualifying jee marks . If you are other state student then minimum 95% ile required. For home State students 92% ile can fetch you lowest branch. Clear jee mains with good marks and you are eligible for nit Raipur admission process Admission process was quite smooth physical reporting is required after result of csab rounds
