- I liked college fests conducted by clubs and committees, where great speakers and celebrities comes.
- I liked the extra curricular subjects such as value education, yoga , NCC which helps in good mental and physical health.

Dislikes
- I disliked the library since it has a capacity of only 100-150 students in a college of more than 4500 students.
- I disliked the teaching methodologies of professors related to studies.
Course Curriculum Overview
Yes , the course is nice but not according to recent industry requirements. As it is a nit, I think it should be designed such that we get better placements. But the course also includes various subjects such as value education, yoga, NCC which can have to keep us with good mental and physical health.
Placement Experience
For branches such as computer science, it ,ece the packages are higher than the other branches. For branches such as electrical ,mechanical and chemical placements are average. For branches such as mining, civil and metallurgy ,placements are not many, and for the branches such as biotech and bomed. branches we have to upskill in computer courses for better placements. But although we can apply for exams such as gate, ese for higher studies and better placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
In this college we can get remission on tuition fees. If our family income is less than 1 lakh we will get full fees remission and if it is between 1 to 5 lpa, we get 1/3rd of fees remission and if its above 5lpa, we have to pay full fees. For sc and st students, there is full tuition fees remission. There are various scholarships which we can apply for further externally through buddy4study website. Full fees for the year will be approx 1.41 lpa if without any remission.
Campus Life
Campus Life is good here with many clubs and committees focusing on entertainment for the students. We can issue the books from the library here. The facilities of smartboard , library, free wifi, sports,etc. are available on this college with a central garden enriching beauty of the college. One major event Eclectika, which is one of the biggest Central India fest which includes various entertainment activities and celebrities also come at this mega event. Sports activities are not so good here with cricket, football and badminton ground only in this college but sports event Samar is still conducted where different colleges participate and various nits also.
Admission
You have to clear jee mains entrance exam in order to get a seat in nit. The cutoff for various branches are different with the computer science branch at the top. If your family income is less than 1 lpa, you will get full fees remission, between 1 to 5 lpa, 1/3 fees you have to pay and for above 5 lpa, full fees you have to pay. There is 50% reserved seats for home state and 50% for other state students. Although the college is good, but with very less area as compared to other nits.
