The vourse curriculum is designed very beautifully and according to the students benificial. For the first year the main goal and focus is for the development of previous class 12th skills and brush up those concepts. In bit a higher level.after that from 2nd year onwards the main core subjects come in which all the main areas reguarding to mines and minerals is taught by highly experienced facultues. And various labs are there where you can test your skills and become better. The course also includes compulsory 1 industrial training for the students after 2yr year which help student to get in the various field works and take experience of what they will be in future and learn all those skills from famous inter compaines like coalindia/NTPC/ADANI and may more.the exams are conductes 2times in one semester and various quizz are also conducted in between class as assigments 1 yr comparises of 2 semester in which exam is divided as mid sem and end sem which are quite normal and conceptual

Various intership in core sector is provided by the companies and in which some times its paid some times its not and projects ate also given by NTPC coalindia under the guidance of the professor incharge to make students learn of the various firls of that particular branch.. For non core sector microsoft/adobe phonepay tcs give internships with stipned and ppos of arounf 50-65K per year and ppo of about 55Lalh per year and also give placement if satisfie with the work in the intership. The projects of web development and software development role is generally more offered by these company. And Adobe fabours She coading also

The placement drive for our collage is very good this year. Various bigge companjes alike Microsoft, iracle, ford, phonepay, adobe is comming and fir core sectors psu and coal india, vedanta , adani, ntpc ,secl is hiring students.various ppis are offered to students by non core sector companies usually the placemnt drive is set for 3rd and 4th year studens and they prepare for the interviews accordingly. The information is given to placement cell the highest package is of 62Lakh offered toa student of Cs department and the average package is of about 22Lakh. For the non core sector the highest package in mining is 14.8Lakh offeres and the average package is 5.5Lakh. the placement stats of the collage is around 85-90% all the year. And almost everyone is olaced oncampus. Many students also prepare for gate and plan to study masters also and if for core sectors once gate is cleared PSUS are comming whicb directly recruit them so its a benifit for every core person if they clear gate.

The fess structure is variable for various category students for general students its almost 1.4Lakh in a year and for OBC students it is 60K in a year for SC/ST it is around 16K in year.. for the students whose income level in family is below 1Lakh the tution fees for those students is not taken and they have to pay a general fees of 3-4K in a year.. Various scholarships are provided vy the institute like GEC alumni scholarship for poor peole with very liw income level RELIANCE scholarships ONGC scholarship. Various girls scholarship is also provided for specific branch girls of CS/IT/MECH/RCE/MINING girls.the amount varuous about 50k per year to 60k per year. For facility reguarding campus employment no such facility are provided. Some project and i ter work under professors is done which may help you to earn a bit. Generally the fees is paid by studens from online system thtought the website of NITRR.

There are various clubs and commitee present in the campus which conduct various events in the academic calander. Some of the clubs and commitee are registered under CDC(Carrier development cell) which give students immence experience and connection with their seniors. Some of those are TECHNOCRACY (tech committee),E-CELL (enterprineur commitee) I-cell (innovative commitee); Shaurya (Sports commitee)-FCC (trading commite and stock morket) PMRC (public media and relationcommitee) these are led by students of the campus and all th beanches atudent are included in them throught various interviews and according to strength And some famous national commite are NCC NSS which teach a lot of discipline in a students life. Tech fest is confucted around November E summit by Ecell is conducted at december. Avniya by Icell is conducted at feb One commite is TEDX in which various speaker sessions are there is conducted at march And sports events are conducted frequently

First of all this is a government collage for engineering and masters so there is an enterance test conducted by NTA called joint enterance exam JEE which can be given by every student studying in class 12 or 1st and 2nd drop... The application form can be found in the site of national testing agency NTA. And the fees of forms vary from year to year and caste wise for females there is a discount for the form prize. The exam is conducted twice 1st attempt in month of december-January and 2nd attrmpt in month of april. The best of two score or percentile is taken and the ranks is provided according to that councelling is done and seats are alloted in various NITS. The difficult level of exam is not so high but maths is a challanging subject every year .. there are a lot of benifit for the category students. Reservation of seats are there for home state students and SC/ST/OBC STUDENTS ,.and fees is almost 5.5Lakh for 4 years mining course. But can be as low as 50k if belonging to sc cat.
