Course Curriculum Overview

I chose bachelors in law because of the subjects that I would have covered since I wasn't fond of accounts or mathematics. The combination of subjects was fine. The exams are conducted every 6 months and internals are conducted every 2 months .

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Placement Experience

The campus offers placement in the last year before your final exams wherein you have to fill out multiple forms with the CRC committee. Every year different companies come and visit , for eg this year Tata motors, tech Mahindra and various other prestigious companies came. The highest package offered was 45 lakhs

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is decided as per the course chosen and every year 15000 rupees increase in the over all fees which is the only disadvantage. Our college does have scholarships for students who perform really well and meet the minimum criteria and percentage for it.

Campus Life

Our college offers multiple clubs one join as per one's' area of interest but which one has to give an interview or showcase skills in order to be selected for the club.our college also hosts multiple events on a grand scale every year including amity youth fest , sa gat Han etc.

Admission

The minimum eligibility is having minimum 75% marks . I applied for the program online through the amity website portal and all the payment and further steps are shown clearly as we proceed. The admission process includes application screening, entrance exam and an interview post which in case you qualify you are given admission. There is scholarship too for the students whose percentages in 12 th are more than 85%

Interview Experience

I did have an entrance and an interview for me to admitted into the program . The topics are related to the law are only and one should be UPTO date with the general knowledge and news. I prepared by studying newspapers everyday and reading news everyday

Placement Experience:

Students are given internship opportunities right from the first year. As I'm already on the verge of graduating in the next two months, I've seen the faculty and management put more attention to the Training and Placement Cell. Big companies like Deloitte, HCL and Austrian Migration Lawyers like Loch Corporate have taken interns from the law school at DME. This being said, I have high hopes from the Placements as well. I plan on working in the corporate and later this year appearing in Clat PG for the masters.

They prepare us well for the real life practices but need kore case studies. Exams are moderately difficult but really helps in future preparations. The curriculum is relevant and fairly comprehensive.

Balanced academics with good exposure

Placement Experience:

Campus placements at the college are quite decent and provides students with a good platform to start their career students usually becomes eligible for placement in their final year but the college starts focusing on internship and skill development on early semester itself. This helps students gain practical exposure and build a strong cv before they sit for final placement. Usually hardworking and eligible students who focuses from the begining get placements through college after completing my degree my plan to gain practical experience by working in a corporate legal role or with a law firm to build strong skills and industry exposure the placement percentage at the college is moderate with a fair number of students getting placed each year

I actually chosed tgis college as the exposure was pretty good. But the major part of me for choosing this college is because I was denied by my parents to learn animation as that was my first preference. AMITY UNIVERSITY - GUIDE 101 FOR B.TECH

I applied to SRM chennai and got the admission letter. but i had to choose AMITY because of lack of hostel accommodation in SRM for female students. When i got there they told me they had 0 rooms for so many students. I did not get a rejection, i had to reject SRM because of lack of hospitality for North Indian people at the reception desk.
