As a remark, College Management offers best to the people who were poor and to the people who were from the rural side, they offer well training mentally to adapt here as well as in academics. Also, they offer the best in placement with the help of Placement training cell.

As I am a Student from Tamilnadu State board have joined this College through Anna University Single widow Counselling. I had a Cutoff of about 197.75 and so I took my course easily through TNEA Counselling, I have opted this college and this course as a referral from my friends and family. Also, the College had Very Good reviews form the student's side too, which made to opt this College.

As We know that the Anna University Syllabus will be an Outdated one, But now the College has become an Autonomous institution to frame the course structure, Even though as an affiliated college of Anna University the students were strong enough to be updated to the current trends in technology, So Now the Students will be much focus on the recent trends in the Tech Aspects, The Course will be with 6 Subjects and 2-3 Labs per Semester and it will be relieved in the final year. The Elective will have opted from the 5 Semester onwards. Courses will be available in the Intranet.

SSN College of Engineering provides Internship for the Students who Excel in their Field. Internships will be from 4th Semester, The Company who wished to have the Interns will conduct the exams based on their selection. The Students selected will be provided for Intern and will be With or Without Stipend based on the Companies, Mostly the Companies will have a general stipend of about 10k and it will be purely based on the company. Intern Period will be about 1,3,6 Months which will be completely permitted by the College Management thus doesn't affect the Academic Attendances

Placements are taken care under the Placement Cell of SSN, The Companies will visit from the 7th Semester and there will be around 80 Companies visiting all over the year and can be classified as Mass Recruiting Companies(IT Sector),Management Companies, Core Companies. There will be around 20-25 Core Companies,20-25 Management Companies and rest will be IT Sector, Salaries will be classified as Mass Recruiters, Dream and Super Dream Companies, they will have the Salary package of about 3 -4 Lakh per Annum, 5-8 Lakh per Annum and Above 9 Lakh respectively

There will numerous events occurring all over the year technically and non-technical, Technically the Events will be occurring every week by IEEE Student Branch and the other Tech Societies. A National Level Technical Symposium will be conducted by students in Every Odd Semester and A Cultural Fest will be conducted by Students in Every Even Semester. Every Student who Excels in their field can form a group of students and with the help of faculty and the Tech Society of the Department

Fees Structure will be Quite Expensive but Moderate when compared with the Best Colleges in the Tamilnadu, Tuition Fees will be Around Rs.40000 Hostel Fees will be around Rs.55,000 and They will be acquiring a special fee of about Rs. 30000 which Includes the Wifi, Library, Books and Notes. The Management will be selecting people from the Rural side and they will be offered full fee concession

There are numerous Scholarship provided by the Management like Walk in Walk out Scholarship for the best Students of the Year, Alumni Scholarship, Merit Scholarship for top 10 scorers of the dept in a year, Sports scholarships for the students who meet the state and National level competitions, Educational Loans are to be availed by the Students separately in the Banks and will be Assisted by the College

SSN is the Best College when considering the campus life, Freedom Nature by the Management to the students will make the education not to be so stressed, the Gender Ratio will be mostly 50:50, cam there is no restrictions as the other colleges have, The College has numerous clubs which will enhance the talent of the student in various fields like Music, Singing, photography, literature, drawing, dancing etc and taking them up to various competitions to achieve their dream field. A Complete Student life can be enjoyed and felt in the SSN.

Internals will be so Chilling. There will be 3 Unit Assessment Tests of 50 Marks of Each Subject. The Internals will on every Mondays and Fridays. If the Students are busy on the day of the internals they can write the exam after with prior permissions, Usually No Exam Stress. The Marks scored in the 3 Unit test will reflect the Internal Marks. If a Student has a High internal it will be reflected in the grades of Semester Exams. The labs will be on alternate days based on the No. of Labs at that Semester It will be compensated by the end of Semester If missed any Labs. Semester Exams will be on Nov-Dec and Apr-May. Exams will be followed by Study Holidays of about 10-15 days and Main Practicals over a period of 3-4 days. So it will not be Hectic.

Admission in this Institute is on two ways one through the TNEA Counselling and the other through College Management. Admission through the TNEA Counselling is Pretty Simple. TNEA Application Notification will be released few days prior to the Results of the HSC Board Exams, Online Counseling dates and Batch will be Allotted based on the marks and We can choose the College and desired Course if available for the mark scored, Through Management, the Application Forms will be Notified in the Official Page of SSN and it will be around the month of May. As the Eligibility concerned Cutoff Marks should be greater than 195 for any Board, For the eligible candidates there will be a Call letter regarding the Dates for the Entrance Exams then its followed by an interview. The Total of marks scored in the Entrance Exams, Interview, Board Exams will decide the course to select, Management seats are about 55% of College strength. There will be No donation or Capitation fees, Management seats will be only through Merit.

As the faculties are concerned, they are much Qualified to teach and they excel in their field better. Each Department will have at least 15-20 Doctorates in Different Field which will be better when comes to teaching. For the Project related details, they are much useful in providing ideas and solving if any problem occurs. They will be helping from the 2nd year in the Field for Mini Projects and Other related stuff. They are so student friendly and they can be contacted every day.
