Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I'll give my course 4.5/5 as I like my course because I was previously a biology student and I like studying about plants and we all known today without plan or before also there can't be any life without plant to it is our necessity to study plant and how it helps us and what all things we can do with plants The curriculum is only based on real world application as with plant we can be able to survive as food ,house ,and many more things we get is through plant only . Yes this course can be improved by giving some real life practical in this course and doing more field work and internship in the botanical gardens . . frequency of our exam is currently very high as in approx 3-4 months our semester is getting completed and I don't think it's very difficult.its easybif you learn well.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is like 5350 in the beginning and then 3350 for the rest of the semester till now it did not increase. Yes scholarship are provided to the reserved category by that is the cg scholarship and some girl child also get this scholarship opportunity. The complete charge per year would be approx 1lakh per year including hostel and mess fees . .cg scholarship and png scholarship for girls . .till now i have not witnessed any campus employment and awards.

Campus Life

4

The experience here is very nice I enjoy a lot the campus is very very big and beautiful and the fest happens every year like tech fest, media fest ,aksh, espectro etc Holi fest in March and Diwali fest in November is celebrated. A wide range of books are available in the library along with newspaper magazine and upsc preparation books and other books and journals as well There are smart class rooms with projector and other things Sports day is also celebrated in the university with wide range of competition and marathon race and ralley were held yoga is done in the department. There are many social groups and clubs like tarang for singing, abhinartan for dance , urchins for drama and many other the gave us many opportunities to develop our skill and showcase our talent

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel facility is pretty good with a room with 2 sharing and provided with bed ,table ,chair ,and almirah . Hostel have lift facility and clean mess with TV room ,gym room , other activities room as well Food quality is good enough like breakfast consist of poha ,idli ,upma ,fruits ,dosa etc and in kuch dal ,rice , chapati, curry, salad and in snacks tea , popcorn, nuts , grams , mixture and other things and in dinner dal roti , vegetable ,fryans etc Registration process is easy just to fill a form by taking it from department and submit it with the fees and other required documents and hostel fees is 12000 per year and mess fees is 9450 in every 3 months I live in the campus hostel

Admission

The admission in this course is through cuet and the eligibility for this streame is biology as mandatory aswell as general test application form can be found in nta website.yes there are benifit for the reserved category as upto 40 percentage reservation is there for St SC and other diasabled candidates . exam took place once in a year . If you score good marks in biology and your admission will be for sure cut off goes upto 130 /200 .some aspects of the application I didn't like is that you have to come for offline counselling then only the admission will be considered valid . The application process is not to hard you just have to fill the exam form and in the time of preference select select the course and the university name and after exam you have to wait for the counselling process and need to be present in the university at the time of counseling.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum of anthropology is very much connected to our human lives which I like to know more about and which influenced me choose this as my graduation course. We study biological , social and cultural, archaeological, and linguistic aspects of humans and thus do a holistic study of human which is very interesting. The toughness exams are of medium level The frequency and timing of exams is good like in every month we have internals and then after a month we have semester exams . So it's good that we are connected to studies and passing exams becomes easy.

I choosed Bachelor of Science in Mathematics as I am from Mathematics Background. I studied in first shift from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. As exam is concerned there is no headache of passing exam because it's an autonomous college so the college easily passed almost all the students. The faculty were teaching well but it needs to improve in their quality of teaching.
