- Campus size - Campus is small so you have to walk less to go were ever you want to go. As this is feature have some pros and cons in itself.
- Faculty - Many experienced faculty is present in the campus, and leaving some arrogent ones the are very helpful in every aspect.
- Placement - Placement is above then average in NIT raipur which is very good.
Dislikes
- Campus size - As campus size is small so every student dont get the hostel facility in the campus .
- Course - Many unwanted courses are taught in the college, which creates burden in student life,
- Faculty - Some are very arrogant faculties, and they scold very badly.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum of the cource is very interesting and very precics to the morder requirment.As its a Institute of National importance so the curriculum is very good. Still there are many improvment required in this curriculum such as as in first year there are many subects which are irrelevent for our branch and for our interests. As many subjects such as food web food chains elc is not very useful for our branch and its important to study it. Which is not required.The frequency of examination is twice in a sem and four time in a year. For odd sem exams usually occurs in october for mid sem and end sem occurs in month of december.and for even semester examination of mid semenster occurs in the month of march and end semester occurs in may.
Internships Opportunities
Many internship opportunity is given in the colleges. Many company such DRDO ISRO and many PSU including Maharatan and navaratan companies which also come in the college to give internship for the betterment of the students. It is compulsary to do the internship in the college as marks are alloted or given on the basis of internship which you do. Company use to come in third year to take the students for the inteenship.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fees for first semester is around 71000 and for second semester is 70570. total fees of four year is around 6 lakhs for general boy. Many concession and scholarships are available for SC/ST/OBC and GEN-EWS is available. Scholarship such as Reliance Foundation UG scholarship, National scholarship, scholarship which is given by our aluminia,Scholarship for india's brightest students and many more.Many concesssion is also given for SC/ST students. Average fees for them is around10000 for one semester.Many scholarship for futher studies prepration such as GATE and CAT is also available in name of the collage.
Campus Life
Overall experice for the campus life is very exicting and beautifull.Many fests occurs in most of the months. Such as technocracy ,E-Summit, Avinya conducted by Innovation cell, fest of robotix and our main cultural fest Eclectika which is conducted on the month of february. Techocracy and E summit use to be organised on the month of september or october. Avinya is used to be conducted on the month of february. There is one club for TEDX talks, where many speaker used to come and share there life and professinal experience. Books are available to issue from library. But there is reservation in this also . Year wise day is present for different years.In every class projector and green board is present for the teaching of the faculty.Sports fest SAMAR is also conducted for the betterment of the health of the students.
Admission
Admission process for NIT is well known it required to give JEE Mains and secure good percentile to get admission in it.You can find the application on NTA website and its fees is around 2k. reservation is available for SC/ST/OBC and PWD student.reservation for SC/ST/OBC/GEN-EWS and PWD are 15%,7.5%,27%,10% and 5% respectivly.The exam occurs twice in a year. Mostly in month of january and April.Difficulty of examination is easy to modarate. For admision result dates for both session of JEE Mains should be told before the condution of examination.As students are very tensed in the result time and they release the result mostly on late night. Without any prior information,which is very stressful for the student which is facing the examination
