- The main thing which grabs everyone attention is sargam (fest) .Fest in new horizon always stood high and lived up to the expectation
- Basketball court and the respective coach are the other things why u should not miss new horizon college of engineering
- Library is lived upto the standards and there are various branches which you can gather lot of information on every subject
Dislikes
- The fees structure is too high to be offered by the middle class people class people
- No proper maintenance of washroom except in 1st year block
- The campus is too small and usually Crowded
Course Curriculum Overview
I opted this course because i am deeply interested or always looking forward to work in power electronics company so I thought this is the best course to pursue my dream and the faculty student ratio is around 20: 80 and many of the professionals have done PhD in their respective department and their teaching method is new which gathers attention from the students, for every four months there is a exam conducted and it's not so easy nor tough it's in a moderate level ,it totally depends on the efforts of the students
Internships Opportunities
VMware, Nokia Communications, Societe Generale, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd, Cerner, IG Infotech, Evertz, Embitel Technologies etc.. These companies pay students around 10 k to 35 k after the completion of internships , The projects may be such as designing the app for It students and for Ec or EEE it may be microcontroller projects
Placement Experience
The students Getting placed to the company in our college is High and the students from 6 sem gets eligible for campus placements and they are number of good companies visiting such as Spyder ,IbM and many got offers arround 20 to 25 lpa , around 94 percent of the total students are placed and my plan is to work in the higly reputated company which pays high
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure for EEE course in New horizon college is 1,26,696 and the there are no particular scholarship mentioned by the college and they are lot of students recruiting in the college , around 94% of total students are placed every year
Campus Life
The life in the campus is just awesome and every year there is sargam conducted annually which is annual fest in the college and techno fest is Quantum in which many students from the corner of the country participate in both the fest and there are every department books found in the library,except basketball there is no scope for any sports in our college and there are many social groups runned by the students such as green club,media club and many more
Admission
I got seat in new horizon college of engineering through the admission process called Kcet counselling in third round, the entrance exam I opted is kcet and the eligibility for the course is you must have passed previous grades and the application form are found in kcet govt website usually in the month of May and April and the application fees is 500 and I didn't have any reservations and I think there is no room for improvement in admission process at the moment
