Remarks

Good things are like. It makes every student be self-learning a lot which helps them stand themselves. Bad thing was that due to its less modernist it may not provide the student with today's world competition.

Entrance Preview

I got a seat in this college by writing AP EAMCET exam. And secured below 5000 ranks. Once you got rank it is all cool process later.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

Mechanical engineering is a very good branch but the curriculum followed in the university was not that much good. Because as it was very old college the labs are very old and not updated especially for mechanical. Other courses and somewhat nicely equipped. But by the recent days updation was under process

Internships Opportunities

Generally, internships are not been provided in the college especially. M.tech was been done and a minimum stipend of 12,400 was given. And stipend was also given for p.hd candidates.

College Events

1.5

College events like College day and sports day are been conducted every year in the college but the timing was not specified. When I was studying for two years college functions are not at all been announced by some silly reasons. Department feasts are been conducted generally in the month of March to April.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee was very low when compared with any other college in the country. For four years of b.tech, the course fee was very low. Hostel fee was somewhat manageable amount. And overall the place was somewhat rural area based hence the cost was low for leading the years also

Fees and Financial Aid

As the college was present in Andra Pradesh scholarship was been provided for local students as well as foreign students with the good amount. Specially reservation candidates will get more scholarship than course fee also

Campus Life

3

The overall campus was located in the very dry area of India. The temperature was somewhat high with around 30-45 and was soo hot. And traditional college with a lot of old following. And gender ratio was around 40:50 and faculty was somewhat less. There are not having any kind of student unions. The politics are low in the student community.

Hostel Facilities

2

The hostel was moderate facilities. Food was not that much delicious. The food was routine and somewhat boring sometimes. And rent was around 4000-5000 per month. And a lot of space was present for hostels. The environment was somewhat cool enough with some good green. Water may be somewhat the problem

Alumni/Alumna

As the college was very old one started before independence. Hence lot no. of alumni are for this prestigious college. Maybe involvement was less of alumni in the college matters. But most of them are settled in various places in the world in very diverse prestigious places.

Exam Structure

Exams are frequently conducted with semester system method. Lot of internal exams are conducted. The exams are somewhat tough that securing good marks was a great challenge. Lab exams are been conducted combined with the end semester exams. The way of conducting exams was oldest ways which may irritate us specifically for lab exams

Admission

As AP EAMCET exam was the only source was the gate way for securing engineering seat in this college. The administration was so cool with out having much problem during the process of admission. Generally exam was conducted in the month of may. As it is government college pressure was not more

Faculty

1.5

Some good faculty was available in the college. But mostly main professors will attend for research fellows than b.tech students. Most classes of the b.tech was done by the basic lectures who are less knowledgeable than a professor. Number of ad-hoc lecturers are present in the college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chose mechanical (robotics). As they euipped with new equipment's of robotics I have inspired a lot and chose to go with this course. This course helps to understand the mechanical engineering an also robotics. It helps us to understand about the mechanism in hardware. It helps to understand about robot infrastructure and about drones. For this course if there is more depth in robotics subjects than it can better. The frequency and timing is good as they maintain a certain period of time gap between the exams and the difficulty level is also good. If studied for a week we can understand up to some level and have a chance to pass the exams.
