Remarks

My bet would be a strict no to join in this college. There are many colleges around and it's best to get into one other than this. The only positive is that the college is close to a big city like Hyderabad.

Entrance Preview

I got into this college through an entrance exam conducted by Telangana state called EAMCET exam. I was interested in electronics and hence chose ECE group. But I did a mistake in opting this college. Some other college would have been better.

Course Curriculum Overview

1

The topics that they teach are obselete. Its better to learn some new technologies outside to enhance your capabilities. Should not entirely depend on college for knowledge. Curriculum is long drawn and it needs to be refreshed as soon as possible. Electives are namesake! College management chooses one among the options and all the students must read that particular subject.

Internships Opportunities

No. College doesn't provide any internships. Students have to look for internships outside and college provides permission to do that.

Placement Experience

0.5

Placements are vague. No big company has visited the college. Only certain start ups visit and they too don't recruit many students. If there are 500 students only 10-20 get placed. So placement record is poor. These small companies recruit students only from computer science (CSE)and information technology (IT) branches and other branch students will not get many opportunities.

College Events

0.5

Every year a technical fest and a cultural fest is celebrated. Technical fest is celebrated on a grand scale and students from other colleges come and witness the programs. Many new and interesting things can be learnt through these fests. There is only one fest for a year and it would be nice if the fests are increased.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees for our batch is ?61k for one year and considering other colleges around the rate is somewhat on the cheaper side. Though open category students have to pay entire fees, reservation candidates get scholarships from government depending on their caste and reservation.

Fees and Financial Aid

Government provides scholarships for caste based students. Apart from that there is no knowledge on any other loans or scholarships

Campus Life

1

Campus life is pale! No one should be in campus after college hours except the girls who are living is hostel on campus. Extracurricular activities are rare. Once in a while they happen for namesake. No facilities for sports even. Labs are good and robotics club is just being started in college. So future looks bright.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

There is no hostel for boys on campus. Though there is a canteen student rarely go there. Food is not that good over there. There are several hostels around the campus for students. They charge anywhere between 3000 - 4000 per month depending on the distance from college and facilities provided.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are always helpful. They mingle with juniors easily and ease them. They are even ready to assist in academics and help juniors in subjects which are tough to understand.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is pretty heavy! They conduct 2 exams per day during mid-semester exams. The day becomes hectic and students get exhausted while mid-semester exams are on. The semester exams are conducted day after day and are comfortable to study. Lab exams are conducted between these mid exams and semester exams one lab a day. There are 2 mid-semester for a semester.

Admission

Through web options. See the admission process is like this.. after passing the EAMCET entrance test you need to get your certificate verified at the local verification center after government has started the process. The details of verification centers will be intimated in prior through text messages. After your necessary certificates are verified you need to wait for the next step. After a few days you need choose the college you need according to your rank. You need to excercise web options through a website provided by government. We can choose all the colleges if you are interested. Even course can be chosen there itself. This entire process is called counselling. After a few days.. you will get a text message saying that your option is accepted and you are selected in a particular college and in a particular course. Enough amount of options have to be excercised so that you can secure admission into the college you have in mind. If your options are not enough then government even organises second counselling for remaining seats. If you are lucky enough you can get into some good course in a good college.

Faculty

1.5

Faculty members are average. There are certainly good people here and there but overall.. not up to the mark. Even faculty members don't know anything about subjects and they manage to say something or the other day by day. Though there are some faculties who help students to learn latest innovations and pat them on the back if they are talented.
