College review

College management is nice. There are few small problems we faced in our college like not having sufficient water glasses to drink water in the campus and also college should give extra 10 min permission to enter in to college after it started.

I have written ECET exam after my diploma to directly enter into second year as Lateral entry. I have chosen E.C.E branch in my diploma because I like electronics products by choosing that I can get some good amount of knowledge on what happens in the background.

Course curriculum is good to study the subjects in a theoretical way and in that we will have labs to gain some practical knowledge. From second year onwards we will get core subjects based on the Branches in final we will have few elective subjects in E.C.E like Embedded Systems, Optical Fibre, Wireless Communication and so on there we will choose some subjects based on the student requirements like their projects or subjects for their M.Tech studies.

Yes it provides internship opportunities to the students but based on student interest and college never forces students to do internship. If student has interest they will give you two months time to complete their internship in the final year. The stipend will be depend on the company the student going to do the internship.

When I was studying we got some good placement opportunity to the students. Companies like Broadsoft, Justdial, Face academy, HGS and so on these are few I remember. Broadsoft s offered up to 3 lakh per annum, Justdial has offerd 2.2 lakh per annum and Face and other companies offer around 1.2 -3.0 lakh per annum .

This will be most entertaining part for students in our college we have different types of functions held in our college i.e our college will celebrate College Fest which is quite famous in districts around on the college and also in the hole state and college will arrange inaugural function the freshers. Apart from every department has some Branch events. In our E.E.C.E department we call it as swarchas which is quite famous in our college where all students from first year to final year students will participate in the event.

College fee is like 58000/- per annum when we were studying which quite feasible because in that we also got fee reimbursement scheme in that we will get 35000/- from government. Now the college got autonomous status recently I think now fee is like 65000- 70000 estimated not exactly.

Yeah scholarship is offered by government of A.P for the students based on category for General Category you will get only fee reimbursement and for SC and B.C students will also get extra amount as a scholarship yearly. I don't about loans because most of the students will get some scholarship and if the student is poor college management also provides some help to those students by reducing some amount.

My college kid is pretty normal playing cricket in weekends chitchating with friends in free time in college. Coming to gender ratio in our E.C.E and C.S.E branches has more female ratio but in Mech and electrical male ratio is more. I think Overall the ratio will be 40-20 (60). Every year college provides few workshops and also fee seminars and lectures from professors outside the college. There is no race or religion or sexual orientation in our college but I think some students have that feeling for that college has taken steps like disciplinary action committee in the college they will take care of that things.

I am a local student so i did not stay in the Hostel but based my friends experience in the Hostel I am sharing this information. For girls and boys they are separate Hostel for boys it is outside the campus and for girls Hostel are in campus and outside campus is also there the Hostel is like 38000 and bus fee is separate from the Hostel fee. Coming the hostel in the town i.e. Ongole , it is having so many hostel in the town which are located only 6km from college the Hostel fee will be starting from 3500-5000 based the bed sharing (2,3,4,5) if you don't want to stay in the Hostel you can also stay in rooms it is quite easy to get rooms in ongole main area for rooms and hostel are Sujatha Nagar, Anjay road, Magamoor road, Bhagya Nagar, mamidipallam.

Our College has no alumni network but every branch has alumni network like swarchas for E.C.E and sparks for C.S.E branch and so on. Seniors are good they are very friendly towards juniors. They helped us in many ways like how face situations in college and in Exams and also while we came outside they have given valuable suggestion to us regarding to our career.

Exam pattern is not very frequent in the starting but at the ending we will get only 15 days for the semester exam after Mid Exams. In the first end we will have first Mid which will be held after one and half month after the college started and some Lab Exams in middle. In second part we will have all the External Labs and Internal labs and Mid Exams and after all this we will have those 10-15 days time to prepare for the Exams.

As I told you I have written ECET exam which will be held on May every year and after that I have counselling where I have to pay counselling fee in order to get a seat under government I.e fee reimbursement qouta. After few days the government will release a date to give options to students in order choose their some of the colleges in the state then again after few days they will release the allotment order of the college to join. You have to submit the described documents which are mentioned in the list and then you have pay the college fee other than fee reimbursement(based on college).

Faculty are very good in the college. They are well qualified professors and associative professors in our college few completed there Ph.D (4-8) and some other associative professors are doing there Ph.D. Faculty are interested to to reach topics other than curriculum but some students only showing their interest towards that topics and their work in the college is also seeing them back to teach other topics. But I my opinion the syllabus should be changed according the outside world so that we can catch up the world.
