Course Curriculum Overview

I took CSE in core branch in this University. I took this branch due to suggestions of many seniors and higher level teacher of my 12 th standard. My aim to get a good package job at the end of my 3rd year

Internships Opportunities

Till now I didn't did any internship from the side of college. As a student of 2nd year i did only 2 project till date and after doing the internships I'll share my experience with you. But as per the seniors experience the internships offered by University is good

Placement Experience

The campus placements are largely taken by the small companies. But the highest packages are given to the students by some of the students only. Highest is 34lpa and average is 5 lpa according to record of university

Fees and Financial Aid

We have to pay tution fee as 2 time like 1 lakh per each semester. There are no more scholarships in this University i think soo. But rooms look decent and college culture is also decent. I didn't joined in any clubs yet

Campus Life

There are same fests like 1 atleast for a week. The library is not much bigger but decent and spacious. Books to improve our knowledge are available in the library like physics or maths books. There are many social groups and clubs. It will create some impact on the students life but not much

Hostel Facilities

The hostel fees is 98000 i.e, for 4 sharing non-ac bed room. The food quantity is infinite but the quality is average. Non-veg is available for 6 days in a week. Registration process for hostel and mess is simple

Admission

No there is no reservation benifits for the students in the college, the title fee I am paying to the university is 200000 per annum. An the many of them are paying 2 to 3 lakhs per annum who are getting low percentage of marks in their 12 th standard

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Before admitting in Vel Tech, I've applied in Quaid E Millath, Queen Mary's College, Nandanam Arts college, Presidency college.I chose Veltech over these because It helps me financially and academically.Even though i had less marks Veltech admitted me. Yes I did get a rejection from other colleges due to my less performance in 12th Standard. It happened because of my medical issues. Admission process in Vel Tech was so simple and Neat First they will be asking for the following Aadhar 10th, 11th, 12th Mark Sheets 12th Certificate TC certificate Caste Certificate Income Certificate Bonafide (if necessary) And then we are requested to pay the full fee amount I joined through management quota. I choosed this college because it got a great reputation and great record of placement. It also got a great infrastructure and facilities.
