It provides opportunities to prove for a student with zeal and interest. It can be opted for a course in CSE without any doubt considering the opportunities. For other branches, college has a competitive environment

EAMCET 2012 :scored 76, rank 11337. I was interested in pursuing Btech in ECE course. After searching for colleges that I could get into with my rank, found CVR college is the best match.

College doesn't provide internship as a mandate. There are few IT companies who come to offer internship in the 4th year. The stipend will not be fixed one, varies with company. After the internship, most of them get a permanent position in the interned organisation which is subject to performance in the internship period. Few companies which offered internship are Global edge, TCS

The college has a placement which is known for bringing the best of IT companies in Hyderabad. Students from this college are placed in famous comapnies like Amazon, Kony, Commvault, Cadence for a Developor role with very good packages amounting to 15 LPA for Amazon. On an average 50 students were placed in a high potential roles with more than 5lakhs package. Service companies loke TCS, Tech mahindra, Infosys visited and recruited not more less than 120 students each time. Candidates aspiring for IT jobs get enough opportunities while other sectors like Mechanical, Civil, electrical and electronics are available in a lesser number. Most of the students interested in above opt for Higher studies abroad and start immediately after graduation.

College celebrates its annual technical fest Ciencia. It has technical events like paper/poster presentation and some technical events like any other fest. Students from kther colleges do participate here. There would also be cultural nights, musical nights and flashmobs planned by dance club. College also has an annual day .As a part of it internal sport events would be conducted and bright students would be recognized in the event. There would be events organized by colleges internal clubs of IEEE, IETE

College has a fee structure (around 1 Lakhper year) which is also one among the expensive colleges . Students of telangana under BPL who secured rank less than 10000 in eamcet get a full fee assistance from state government and with ranks more than 10000 get partial assistance from the government. Few opt for loans to pay for fee. College didn't have a mechanism or partners with banks for loans

College has a good gender ratio in students and faculty as well. The student clubs in college like IEEE,IETE and clubs of EEE and Civil.deparments regularly organise workshops yo introduce trends in industry. They also orgainze industrial visits and guest lectures. College is not good interms of diverse student reprsentation. It has a dance club which functions good. College has sports facilities like basketball, tt, snookers and a well.maintaned cricket ground. Iy doesn't have political student union. The clubs organizes comepetions in robotics through workshops

College has a hostel for boys in the campus. It is a good option for those who don't like commuting , as the college is in out skirts of the city (18 kms from LB nagar) it would be a good option. I opted hostel for the first 2years. Seets would be limited and on a first come first seve basis for the first years. From the second year the facility is given for a students based on availability. Serves decent food and rooms would be just good interms of spaciousness. It might look like a highly priced service. College took up a hostel in city for girls and provides toransport facilities

It has a decent alumni network. All the students would be enrolled in a network. The alumni contribute for the infrastructure in college. There would be alumni meets but not very regularly. Few of them are working in prestigious organizations like CBI and other ministries. A special mention for the directior of Ghazi movie, sandeep is an alumni of CVR

The college had 8 semester in 4 years (2 in each year) Each semester has both Lab and theory exams. There would be a percen2 of marks for internals in labs and theory apart from the final examinations. There was a change in the number of internal examination in a semester after it was found the schedule is hectic. Earlier there were 3 internals in each sem it was reduced to 2

Appeared for EAMCET entrance exam. After securing a rank, there was a document verification drive in district headquarter. Later I've given choice/options for the course and college I was interested to join in the portal of the exam conducting body. I was allotted CVR college. Then I have reported at the college with allotment order, paid the fee thru challan and completed yhe admission procedure.

The lab facilities of the ECE department meet the university norms of JNTU and UGC as well. The college is accredited by UGC as well. Labs have able and qualified assistants who can help in academic experiments. The. College has a centre for VLSI design and had a Cadence design licence which a university/college had very rarely in those days. Teaching faculty are qualified and the management used to follow the standards set up (like having an MTECH degree to teach) by the JNTU university.
