Course Curriculum Overview
In a National Institute, Every course is very relevant to you. Course designed for first year comprises almost every basic fundamentals of different fields. Look I am pursuing Mining engineering but I have to study, Basic Electrical engineering, Basic Mechanical engineering, Computer Programming in my course. In our course there is a subject called Value Education which is very helpful for development of interpersonal skills. A comprehensive BTech curriculum should cover fundamental concepts, theoretical principles, practical applications, and relevant skills development. It should provide students with a broad understanding of their chosen field while also allowing for specialization in specific areas of interest. In a semester our exam is conducted twice. One is mid semester exam and one is end semester exam exam which happens at the gap of 2 months. All faculty members are very well educated and have Good experience of teaching.
Internships Opportunities
Internship facilities being provided by the college. Internship is being done with the institution affiliated with this institution or seperate bodies . Internship is more helpful toh preplacement and skills .
Placement Experience
Placements are quite good in the institution comparison to other institutions. We all know the placement of good branches Like :-cs , it are always good But in this institution the placement of core branches are more the expected
Fees and Financial Aid
As a National Institute, It is funded by Central Government so its fee structure is good. For a student whose family income is less than 1 lakh, he/she have to pay 0 tution fee but ?8000 is additional fee per semester and for a student whose family income is more than five lakh he have to pay full fee which will cost 5.5 lakh in 4 years. Many scholarships are acceptable here
Campus Life
Campus life is not good as expected, because of the limited hostel facilities and old infrastructures. Playground is also not as expected to Play without any disruptions , the facilities should be improved
Hostel Facilities
There are of limited hostel facilities in the college and they provides on the basis of CRL and distance of home from the institution. From 2nd year onwards the hostel facilities provided on the basis of performance in the semester examination
Admission
Admission process was not very tough, First we have to give a entrance test JEE Mains. We can give JEE Mains by filling it application form from the website nta.jeemain.nic.in, application form fee is 900-950 and it can be filled in December & February. Approx 30% seats is reserved for OBC. Jee mains exam is conducted twice in year ie, In January month and April month. As it is entrance exam for BTech so it is quite tough because you are competing with 12 lakh students. Questions were easy but competition is very high. Jee mains exam is conducted in various shifts, so that most of the students don't understand normalisation process , I think this exam can be done in One shift across the nation. For general 90%ile , For OBC 73%ile , For SC/ST 45 %ile is cut off. If you want to get admission in IIT's or NIT's ,u must have to secure minimum 75% in 12th boards.
