Entrance Preview
I entered through comed-k rank was around 3300. I scored around 120 out of 180. The people around at the time of admission told it is better college then others available at that rank You can enter through CET also.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college comes under vtu . Since the university has kind of old syllabus collage have to follow the same. Most of the departments are supportive for research. But I'll say mechanical does the best job. Our college students have even a IEEE branch which help in all types of research.
Internships Opportunities
Yes they call the same companies coming for placing students to offer internship. But the college and university isn't that cooperative with it due to attendance issues.
Placement Experience
Most of the people are placed in IT companies irrespective of branch. As very less no of other companies comes in college.we have a placement cell since 2004. Companies like infosis,TCS, Accenture etc comes they provide a large no of jobs. And Amazon comes with 0 to3 seats with a high package like 20 to 25 lakhs also.
College Events
Many events are celebrated like fresher's day in 2nd week of August Voltage day 1st week of may. Kalangali i.e. college festival. Youth kalangali University festival. Then there are dependent festival Then there are various club they organises various events like adhar where various competition are held

Fees and Financial Aid
People joined through CET gets all the scholarship except those provided by vtu for scoring high marks.
Campus Life
The gender ratio among students can be said 60-40. Here students are from each corner of our nation. No discrimination on basis of gender,race etc. We have many clubs for extracurricular activities like debate quiz,etc. There are all the required labs. There is a cricket, football ground and a table tennis court in gym.
Hostel Facilities

A strong group are made between current students and alumni. There is an WhatsApp group where we can directly communicate.
Exam Structure
Every month there is an exam where we are supposed to submit assignment just after or before exam. During exam we have to give 2 exam same day. There is no exam in 1st month of semester, then 2 compulsory exam and then an improvement exam each month. And immediately after improvement exam we have lab exams. Rest is upto vtu
Admission
After the comed-k results I went for counseling (now you can do it online). They asked for various documents like adhar card,marks sheet etc we have to verify it then go to the room for counsiling and select the college and then submit 55000 and if you don't wanna enter afterwards 5k will be deducted . If you wanna enter same college go to respond respective collage give fee. Take admission.
Faculty
Pretty good faculty. Most of the faculty are good at academic point of view. Most of the faculty helpful in extra topics also. Most of faculty have done MSc and few have done PhD. And having at least 10 years of teaching experience. They do a good teaching plan and high student involvement
