Prakasam college review

I didn't took any entrance exam. I took management quota to join in this college one of family member suggested and joined this college . I always interested to join in core branch and college has good reputation for electrical engineering so I joined in this college

Our collge is affiliated to JNTU Kakinada and total syllabus is followed as prescribed by it for first years all the subjects are same for all branches. From third sem we had all core subjects and labs as per course. Each subject is for 100 marks in 30 are internal(5 for assignment 10 for online conducted by kakinada and 25 is secured in mid exams ) and sem exams are for 70 marks. Student should secure min 16 internals and 24 in externals to pass subject

No there are no internships programmes in colleges. college is not all concerned about students .if student is interested in internship he would do outside in summer holidays or should do any paid internships

They don't have any particular fee structure mostly students get fee reimbursement provided by government if student has to join through management quota then he has to pay fee and it will be low compared to other colleges . If you are local then fee would be least for them and if people have good influence and background then concession will be more for them generally for eee fee is 20000 per year excluding exams fees. There is no proper fee structure it varies with student to student

Stundents qualified in EAMCET are eligible for fee reimbursement provided by government of AP for them there will no college fee for them only amount they pay is examination fee and college fee is low so one would not take any loan even if he is from management quota

Hostels are good with good facilities. Fee for hostel is also low compared to other near colleges . Food is not bad in terms of quality and taste. Sad thing is even laptops and mobiles are not allowed even in hostel . Even if you are computers science student or final year students laptops are not allowed. Generally for each room 6 stundents are allowed with each bed for them and room is not spacious

Exams are conducted as per JNTU Kakinada for each sem there will be to mid examinations in which best one is considered and generally after 90 day's end exmas are conducted . And sem exams are conducted through jumbling system one college students are required to write sem exams in other colleges and labs exmainatiins are conducted after completion of sem exams

My family member(uncle) suggested this college. One fine day we visited college and had a little chat with all lecturers and decided to join in electrical engineering which I was always had liittle interest .then we had some certificate verification and filling all the required forms I officially joined in college and from next day I went to college
