Course Curriculum Overview
I chose B.com because I enjoyed doing accounts and tax related problems. This course is very helpful for those wanting to do higher studies like M.com, CA, CMA, CS. The books which are taught and the methods used in the books are still old fashioned and not up to date with the modern changes. The course does not cover all the topics and keeps loose ends. There are some methods which are used but are wron, still they are used for simplicity. Exams are taken every six months and the level of difficulty is average.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fees is very minimal in govt college as compared to private colleges which charge a hefty amount for the same course. Also the fees increase very little on a yearly basis. The complete cost of this course is approximately Rs 6000. There are scholarships available in this course if you have studied in a govt school. Campus recruitment is available and organised in the last year.
Campus Life
All the govt holidays are given and also winter, and summer vacation. There are a wide variety of books in the library. There are black boards in each classroom and projector in two classrooms. An annual sports is held every year in the winter and there are indoor and outdoor games held in the year. There are some clubs which focus on the social welfare and nature.
Admission
The admission process was quite simple. The eligibility criteria for B.com was pass in aggregate in class 12 with commerce subjects. You can find the application form, details about fees and application dates on the website of the college itself. The exams are taken on half yearly aka semester basis. And the exams level are average.
