I wrote Jee mains, advanced, Manipal,VIT,Eamcet. I got seat in VIT, Manipal and sastra. I decided to join in sastra as fee structure is more in Manipal and VIT.

Course curriculum is good with the maximum of CSE subjects and 1 electronics subject per semester. There will be no electives in 2nd year. Electives will start from 3rd year for this course. We have to choose 2 electives from the given set of electives from 5th semester.

Yes, Sastra provides internship. Many companies come here for placements and they too offer internship. Stipend depends upon the company you are doing intern. Big companies like Amazon also provide internship.

Placements are excellent here. Almost 95% are placed here every year. PayPal or Directi gives the highest package. Directi gives 27lpa and PayPal gives 22lpa. They will recruit people only in single digit. Maximum of students are placed in TCS which generally provide 3.2 lpa Big companies like Amazon,Goldman Sachs,wipro etc also come to campus every year.

There will be 3 main events celebrated in the college namely kuruksastra,coloseum and Daksh.Colosseum is one of the biggest sports fest in south India and students from different colleges come here to participate in different games. Daksh is a technical event which tests your skill and grip in technical aspects, winners will be rewarded with the prizes worth lakhs. Kuruksastra is a cultural event with many students from different colleges participated in culturals. There will be a food carnival too during these events with all varieties of food available near the event place, people from different cities come here to provide food.Kuruksastra provides you ultimate fun with music,dance,magic etc.

Fee structure is very less in Sastra university. Semester fee is 65000 and hostel fee ranges from 8000 to 20000 depending upon hostel you had chosen. Mess fee should be paid every month depending upon the caterer's expenses. It will be around 3500 per month. You should pay breakage fee of almost 1000 for every semester and 1000 for unit test fee and sports fee for every year. There will be a one time payment of development fee (10000/-)for four years. Every year there will be 5% increment in semester fee. Total fee for four years including everything will be around 8.5 lakhs.

Loan facility is available in almost every bank. Hostel will give you a bonafide on your fee structure will helps you to get loan easily. There will be hostel scholarship of 16000 per year based on your attendance and CGPA and also dean's scholarship of 11000 or 22000 based on your CGPA.

Gender ratio will be almost 1:1.There will be no ladies quota or reservation based on caste here.There will be many clubs here based on your skill like poster design, event handling clubs for college Fest, maths club, robotics club etc oining in these clubs helps you to learn organising skills.There will be no ragging here. There will be no abusement of students on their race,religion and economical status.

Hostels are not too good here. Infrastructure is average. Some hostels are good in cleanliness and some are good in ventilation and some are good in food. No hostel is perfect in every aspect. Talking in general sense, food in sastra is uneatable. But,you know we have to bear these kind of stuff for our better future. Canteen provides healthy and delicious food with affordable prices. Hostel sharing will be from single room to 6 in 1.Hostel seats are sufficient for all the students joining here.

Seniors helps us by providing materials or books for our studies.They also helps us by sharing the feedback on professor's skills with which we can choose professor for respective subject in our course curriculum.

There will be 3 midterms for semester and an end semester exams. So you can be free all the time and there will be no pressure on you. In the three midterm exams, they will choose the best two midterms for GPA calculation. Good CGPA gives you a chance to slide into another branch after first year.

I got admission by the rank given by sastra university on the basis of Jee mains score and intermediate score .There will be 2 streams for admission 1. Jee mains score + Intermediate score 2. Only intermediate score Stream 1 has 70% of seats and stream 2 has 30% of seats and there will be 50% of Tamil Nadu quota

Faculty in sastra is good. They are highly qualified with phd, m tech, MSc etc..Some of the faculty are very keen to teach and share their knowledge with students. Every professor does some research in their fields of interest. They will help us in every aspect.
