I came through Karnataka CET exams. My rank was 49K. APS college of engineering is a good college to choose if your ranking is 50k something. I had heard from my friends that it is a good college that's why I chose this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
This college comes under VTU i.e Vishweshwaraya technological university. So obviously the curriculum followed is of VTU. Its a very good curriculum. APSCE also has a research center for mechanical n computer science. Vtu syllabus is well-established syllabus.
Internships Opportunities
Yes they provide internships in some companies and the stipend is 5000 rs to 10000rs. Companies like NTT Data. M/s next novelty. Tech Mahindra. Sonata software. M/s silver peak global. Microland.
College Events
Various seminars were held related to technology. A seminar was held on quantum physics. A seminar was held on Auto-cadd from the head of the CADD centre India. Every semester placement training will be held to improve the students in soft skills and aptitude etc
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is also feasible. For the students who come through Karnataka cet the cet fees is 56K and college fees is less compared to other colleges i.e 25K. There is also a hostel facility available for boys. The hostel fees is 70K per year including mess and other things.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are scholarships like evidya vidyasiri for the students. Students who have scored 75 n above percentage in puc will get a scholarship of 19K. And it will continue if you keep scoring above 70% in all the semesters. The college also provides a loan facility for the students . The college has tie-up with Axis Bank and HDFC banks.
Hostel Facilities
APSCE has hostel facility for boys. And girls hostel is also being constructed in d campus itself. Its a walkable distance from college to hostel. Mess food is good. Hostel fees is 70K per year including mess n accommodation. 2,3,4 sharing is available. The rooms are good. Its a cool campus to live in.
Admission
APS college of engineering is a good college. I got the admission through Karnataka cet exams . I entered the college cet code in cet option entry. The cet code for APSCE is E085. After the option entry process I selected this college n paid the cet fees through challan. Admission process was also easy .
Faculty
The faculty members in APS college of engineering are very good and well qualified. It also has faculties with Industry experience. The faculties are very helpful and humble. They will help you in all aspects. Especially teachers are friendly
