Only good things I got from my department. The faculty and seniors played a major role in all the time during my study. The whole faculty was very supportive

The course is very good in regard to research and to get into the pharmaceutical industry. We use to go for clinical trial training and also hand on practice in municipal hospitals. There was lots of things to know about in practical classes and all students were also enrolled in one or other project work.

There was no internship for a postgraduate student. For medical p.g student stipend was there, the stipend was as per manipal university rule but was more than any other medical college.

Campus selection was not there during my study periods but my classmate was got the job, 3 or 4 only got a job in pharmaceutical industry and rest were working in medical college as a lecturer as well as Demonstrator. Initially, the college or industries offer not more than 3-5 lakhs per annum.

The largest cultural or religious event ever I celebrated in my life is Ganesh Chaturthi in my college, we use to celebrate world heart day, environment day etc. College uses to organize P.G day and college day also. Lots of enjoyment in Deepawali which was celebrated at huge attavar ground as well as every hostel.

The fee structure was feasible, the good things with Manipal university are that once they took the prescribed fee after that no need to pay a single paisa for any work related to any document charge or anything else. The administrative staffs were very polite and have lots of knowledge about banking and all.

Loan for full tuition fee and hostel expense was provided by state bank of India. Manipal University has collaboration with S.B.I for loan facility and student combo card means identity card as well as the debit card.

60:40 gender ratio was there at my time. we attended lots of workshop and hand on practice session on different topics, especially in my department no politics only we have to work, everyone knows there that going out from KMC is very tough without sound knowledge of your subject that's why all use to study together with help of each other.

Hostel facilities were very very good, I was in falnir mens P.G hostel which was in falnir. The hostel was very clean and the food timing and taste were very very good. One of the truths of that hostel was that everyone uses to put some 4-5 kg of weight before leaving the hostel. Lots of good varieties we use to have in mess, the mess was run by the guideline of the student committee.

Seniors were very helpful, there was no any raging types culture in KMC, senior use to interact with juniors by asking questions about there aim and objective about the particular subjects.

We use to write university exam in the first year of our M.Sc after which we use to start working in our specialist department. In the Second year there was no university exam, only we have to write the test which depends on the professor whenever they fell to do so. After three years of study, we use to write university exam which was very tough to pass in comparison to other colleges.

The form was available through purchase and after that on the basis of marks university use to make a merit list for all separate branches. I applied for Msc Embryology but that time only 2 seats was there. In my second form I was also 0pted for M.sc medica courses. So I got first in KMC, Manipal and latter got transfer to KMC, Mangalore

The faculty was very helpful and they have lots of projects with them, 10 faculty including three senior most professors was there. They use to guide us in each and every step of class work or lab works. They are very friendly also and always take care of the student.
