- I think MVSR is very good in providing good Campus life as the teachers are very friendly and kind .
- I liked College Radio which helps in improving our communication skills and develop inter personal skills .
- Even the course is designed very well and the curriculum includes a lot of practical stuff which we need in our professional life.
Dislikes
- I think MVSR should improve its infrastructure as it is very old and even all the colors are faded.
- I think playground is important in a Engineering college but MVSR has no good playground to play.
- I think they try to increase the avg placement package from 4LPA to 7LPA atleast.
Course Curriculum Overview
I joined in IT stream and the course is well disigned as per my knowledge.My crriculum included both hardware and software related subjects like java,c python,BEE,cloud computing etc.I had 8 sems so there is a scope to cover a lot.Even the teachers are well prepared and had master degrees .They were quite good in teaching.But the problem is the subjects were very tough because a lot of syllabus they need to cover and it is a hectic task to follow up also.I think they need to cut down some topics.
Placement Experience
I think MVSR provides good number of palcement oppurtunities.It starts from 3rd year 2nd sem onwards till the end of 4th year.But the avg package is 4LPA which is not that good when compared with other colleges.The highest package was 30LPA which amazon offered and 24LPA which was offered by goldmansachs campanies.But most of the stdents during my batch preferred MS in abroad.
Fees and Financial Aid
I joined in IT(B.E) which is 4 yr course.For Each year we need to pay 1,25,000/- and Initially we were asked to pay 12000/- as library fee.And for every sem we need to pat 2200/- for semester exam and For every year we need to pay 6000/-.If we get EAMCET rank below 10,000 then we no need to pay 1,25,000/-.The government will pay on behalf of us.
Campus Life
I think MVSR provides good campus life as the teachers are vey friendly.Seniors also very kind to help us out.There is a college Radio in which u can participate and have fun activities.But when it comes to college infrastructre it is very bad because College is very old and it is only in 18 acres as there is no lot of free space.Even the palyground is not that good.
Admission
My name is Manikanta Uppalancha.After completining my 12th,I attempted for Telangana EAMCET Exam which helps to enter into Telangana local Engineering colleges.I got 9039 rank in EAMCET.Then A notification had been published saying to apply for colleges.Then I applied for Colleges.I also Included MVSR Engineering College in my list.In the first counsiling,I got a seat in MVSR in IT stream. Iam OC so there is no reservation for me.In December 2019 I got a provisional allotment order and invited us to college on 21st Dec,2019.I fillled form and paid some miscillaneous fee about 12000/-.It comes under OSmania University and the sem exams were tough to crack.but the teachers are quite good in teaching subjects.And when it comes to placements,A lot of companies visited our college but the avg package is 4lpa which is less.I think they need to put more focus on College infrastucture and placements.Overall I can give 3 outof 5 rating .And there are no fests conducted.
