Well I completed my studies from a reputed college in Bangalore and I took up cet where I got a ranking of 48000 and I had got a lot of seats in few colleges which my dad didn't like because they were very far and I joined HKBK college of engineering as it was nearby my house and my father didn't want me to travel very far for studies and still and I'm pursuing my studies here currently
Internships Opportunities
Yes the college does provide internships. As per my knowledge, I have seen certain companies coming in like hp, cognizant and a few other companies and again I seriously have no idea regarding the internship because I'm still in 2 year of engineering
Placement Experience
As I told you we have certain companies coming in like hp, Accenture,cognizant and a lot more so I've not been placed yet and well I had a friend he got placed in cognizant and he got a yearly package as 3.5 lakh per annum so these are the job experience that I've heard from one of my friend
College Events
not much events are celebrated at my college you have a sports day, ethnic day, tech day and an annual day only these are the programs that are celebrated in my college and we have the intercollegiate sports apart from these no festivals are celebrated
Hostel Facilities
Since my house is nearby I do not eat a lot of food from canteen well I've tried it the food is good ok and the hostel facilities are extremely good wherein you have separate boys and separate girls hostel and good security facilities.I would appreciate this one on a serious note
Alumni/Alumna
Yes the seniors are really helpful if we have any doubts we walk up to them or there are certain sessions where the seniors walk up to our classes where they make us understand about the subject and help us
Exam Structure
Since it's a CBCS system we have 2 unit test or the called monthly tests and 1 final exam and we even had the lab test which gets added as internal marks to the finals and it was pretty chilled out if you study you keep on going forward if not you end up getting a year back and you need to sit at home for a year and you end up getting year back if you have back in more than 4 subjects
Admission
Well you have 2 options to get into this college either get through cet and if the govt provides you seat into this college you go in or you pay them a management fee of 1.5 lakh and get in and the staff out there will help you fill the forms and guide you through the process
