This college life leads to overall development of you. What all you need to do is embrace it. Don't be dumb. Participate in as many events as you can. There are no bad remarks as it depends on the way you perceive it.

IIT JEE. My score in JEE mains was 188. rank was 5063.I'm a resident of Warangal. Thought to be a day scholar at the college was near. Also, it is one of the top NITs.

The curriculum is very good and allocation of courses is quite a foundation for us to choose our career. They don't concentrate more on research. Placements are given the most preference. We have 26 credits up to fifth semester and 25 in our sixth semester. We can do projects under the guidance of professors if we are interested in the summer vacations. Final year project has to be done in a seventh and eighth semester.

Yes. Most of the companies that come for campus recruitment offer internship. The recruitment companies for CSE department students offer much of the internship. It is less when it comes to mechanical. companies like Bajaj, GE aviation, ITC, Schneider electric, Mahindra and Mahindra etc.stipend is abt 20000 for mechanical companies.

Placements are very good. an ample number of companies are invited. The recruit based on our skills etc., Placement percentage for mechanical this year was 85%. Average package is 8.3lpa.Highest was17.4lpa. Bajaj-8.16lpa. GE india-8.25+1.25lpa. Alstom-7lpa BPCL-14lpa HPCL-13.5 IOCL-13.5 Coal.india ltd Tata motors-6.15 Ford-7lpa etc.,

We have two fests. one cultural and one technical. Technozion is the technical fest of nitw.one of the biggest in South Asia. Springspree is a cultural fest of new. It is a quite big one too.CURA is a management fest. Ayodhya is a sports fest. Both the technician and springspree are three-day fests. Lot of workshops and events are conducted during technozion. Robotic exhibits,robowars, competitions are conducted. Springspree is a cultural fest. Many events and competitions are also held. Pro nights are held where celebrities, singers show up.

The fee structure for my batch and my senior batch was 35000 per semester. We get some scholarship.it is less than the fee we pay. Those who joined after us i.e., our juniors have a different fee structure. The fee was increased. Fee per sem was made 68500. There is a 100% remission of fee for those who have a family income of less than one lakh. And a remission of 2/3rd fee for those with family income ranging from one to five lakh. It seems to be a feasible one.

We get a Telangana state scholarship i.e., trespass. Also, national scholarship based on intermediate percentage. As the fee structure has changed to our juniors, the don't get the state scholarship. Yes, there is a loan facility.

The campus is a big one with 200-acre area. It is pleasant with a lot of greenery. Life here is quite enjoyable. You have good friends, challenging curriculum. Extracurricular activities are encouraged a lot. Sports are encouraged. We have inter-NIT competitions every year. We have a big gym, volleyball courts, indoor badminton courts,tennis courts,big library etc., we have clubs like literature club,nature club, astronomy club, photography club etc., NCC is also encouraged. There is no gender inequality kind of thing here. Zero tolerance to indecency and violence or ragging. There are lot of workshops conducted like Ansys, CFD, AutoCAD, Matlab, artificial intelligence etc.,

Hostels in nitw are very good. Asia's second largest hostel is here with a capacity of 1800. There is also another hostel with 1000 capacity. Girls hostel is also very good. Food is also good. The menu is good for both south and north Indian guys. We have non-veg messes and veg messes also.

Alumni of nitw are in most prestigious positions now. They visit quite often and lecture us about their experiences, goals, try to motivate us. We have alumni day. Alumni are invited and are awarded for their excellence and contribution. We have a good interaction with our seniors. They help us in whatever means when asked.

Not too hectic and not too chilled out. We have exams four times in a sem. Minor 1for 10 marks, mid sem for 30 marks,minor2 for 10 marks and end semester exam for 50 marks. The aggregate is done and grades are given relatively. There are subjects for 4 credits and 3 credits and labs are for 2 credits.

They will announce a date for option filling on the JoSAA website.Allocation of seats for the first round will be done after that.After first round you need to report to one of the NIT or IIT.If you get a course of your choice you can freeze that option. Your seat shall be fixed.If not you can select slide in the same institution or the options above your filled list.The seat u get after all the rounds will be finalized.You have to report to that NIT or IIT and have your admission process done.

Faculty for mechanical is the best here. All the faculty here are professors and assistant professors who have doctorates. They are highly qualified and help the students in all the ways possible. We have a class period of one hour. We can approach the faculty at any time on subject related doubts. They are very helpful.
