Remarks
The college management is really good. They have a good infrastructure and they are still improving it. We got good lab facilities. The faculties provided by the college is excellent.
Entrance Preview
TANCET is the entrance exam written. I scored 31 marks. I got a seat in the college through management. I opt to take up computer science engineering because l started practising programming right from the 10 th standard and I am interested in that too. I wrote a separate exam for students who enter through management quota.
Course Curriculum Overview
College curriculum is really good. They concentrated on object oriented concept and Java programming which helped a lot. The internship exam which is conducted is corrected properly. The questioned asked on the exam is discussed in the nexted class which was very helpful.
Internships Opportunities
I did not attend any internship in the college. But I arranged for an internship in a company with no stipend but I offered them some money. They taught me c and c++ which I already knew.
Placement Experience
Placements were really good. Almost 25% of the final year students got placed even though there was a recession going on. The companies that came to the campus are cyber slash, Roland technologies. They offered around 10k monthly.
College Events
The college take initiatives to conduct symposiums. All the regional festivals such as devali, pongal. Are celebrated well. All the national festival are celebrated accordingly.
Fees and Financial Aid
College offers scholarship. Details regarding that is not discussed widly. Many other scholarship is outsourced from other sources I did not go in to the details of the scholarship. I came to know about the scholarship from the collage notice board.
Campus Life
The gender ratio of male:female is 2:1. Birthday parties are allowed inside the hostel. College participate in district level sport. The importants given to sport is reasonable. Proper training is given before participating in each sports.
Hostel Facilities
The mess food is reasonable. It is cooked reasonably. I am a day scholar I do not know about hostel facilities. I heard from hostel students that they used to see TV in common room. They must be in the hostel before 8 pm at night. Day scholars are not all
Alumni/Alumna
Experience with my college seniors are very much minimal. All in all we have a placement officer who will direct us properly. The placement officer will contact the faculties to prepare us for the various interviews.
Exam Structure
Exams will be hectic to graduates who dont prepare regularly. All the exams and labs are reasonably simple, if it is prepared well. All the faculties are very helpful and really take a reasonable effort to keep the exam and labs simple for us.
