Life in my college

I am quite happy with our college infrastructure and faculty. But regarding placements, our college should be in one step forward.

I had taken EAMCET in the year 2015 and got a rank of 18k. I had opted for this college because of the excellent infrastructure it has and the experience faculty care i have seen at the time of admission. Other colleges have lesser infrastructure compared to my college.

I am an ECE student. The course curriculum would be prepared at the starting of the course only in a predefined manner which helps the student in all ways of there time management. Course manner is prepared with extra mini projects also. The core elective will be starting in the 3rd yr itself where all the application subjects are covered. We have an open elective also in every sem from 3yr.

Our college doesn't provide internships but they will link the students with there core any of the core companies. In my department (ECE) there is an NI LabVIEW development process. In which student should write the exam and attend the interview to obtain an internship.

Last but one year our placements are so bad. Even we have a tension that we would place or not. But last year we have a good growth. Almost 468 members are got placed. Softonic offered a package of 3.2 lpa , TCS is of 3lpa and Infosys is of 4 lpa. But there are still unplaced members count in the college is somewhat high.

Our college doesn't do a bigger fest during my first year. In the past also I don't think so. But the inter-department fests are conducted by every department in the college. Every year this would be done. And technical events like IEEE will be done and paper presentation, the technical magazine would be released also.

At my joining it was 64k tuition fee and extra 10k building fund. Now it was increased to almost 85k with the 10k building fund. The building fund includes the training and placement fees also. The extra bus fee students need to pay is of 23k for Vizag students and 15k for Vizianagaram students. The girl's hostel fee is of 50k and the boy's hostel is also the same price.

Yes, our college would give scholarship for the first three rankers in every department every year. The first ranker will get 33k and the second 22k, third is of 11k. For SC students, the library books have a time period of over 6 months

Nothing like gender ratio in our college. Even many women empowerment campaigns and meetings would be done in our college. Students and faculty relationship would be quite delightful. Students can interact with them at any time they want. The faculty is so friendly in nature. Our college is opposite to the caste or religion basics. No political region would happen in our college.

We have a separate boys hostel and girls hostel. The hostel students should have the permission to go out of the college. And the hostel is provided with wifi facility also. The rooms will be quite good to stay. Three members had to share the hostel room. Hostel mess is also separate for girls and boys. The average charge for the hostel is of 50k.

In this thing our college is superb. The interaction with the senior students or alumni is very good. Their mistakes are overridden by us in the future. We can have a friendly chat with them. No ragging is done in our college, it is strictly prohibited.

I got admission in this institute by EAMCET exam ranking. The admission process is simple either it was by entrance exam or spot payment. Firstly you need to submit the allotment order form when you got the seat in the college to confirm your seat . And later on certification verification process would be happened. Notification of certificate verification would release in the 10 days of time. Administration was done in a pleasant manner .

Our college consists of the faculty who had done m.tech and BTech in the reputational colleges only. Many members have done there Ph.D.'s also. Their experience is one of the backbones of the college. Faculty would deal the courses not only in the sem exam point of view but in future competitive exams also. The guidelines given by them in mini-projects are very helpful for the students.
