Placement Experience
placement cell at MIT is strong and rejects offers below a certain threshold, average package is about 12LPA, and even better for circuital and CSE branches. Internships are provided and various other CV building opportunities are provided throughout the 4 years to students to build themselves in terms of skills and be at par with industry demands
Fees and Financial Aid
various merit and need based scholarships are availble for students, keeping in mind a few essential criterias. rankholders with a rank below 5000 and those with a rank below 500 are given scholarships provided they maintian a GPA of over 8.5 and are the top scorers of their respective branches
Campus Life
campus life is very eventful and life outside campus is also great with an abundance of places to visit in and around Uduipi. On-campus life is also happening with regular competitions, shows, street-plays, etc. College-fests are a must attend.
Hostel Facilities
great variety of rooms depending on your comfort level. students can choose from a variety of room types avialble- AC/ non-AC, common bathrooms, attached bathrooms, single/ double/ triple occupancy. First years have a separate hostel block.
Admission
The Manipal Entrance Test (MET) is the official exam conducted by MAHE for admission into its B.Tech program in the 4 major campuses around India - Manipal, Jaipur, Banglore, and Sikkim. The MET is conducted twice a year and forms are available on their official website through which students can apply for the same. The admission process is very transparent and seats are allocated based on rank secured by the candidate on the day of the examination. cutoff for CSE core branch was around rank 1600 which was roughly equal to a score of greater than 130 on the MET. students can apply for the second round of the exam to improve their scores
