Remarks

I would say to go for it. Reputation for our college is increasing day-to-day, and our management is planning to turn out our college as university. I am not sure about the time which will be taken for this but one, you can see our college as a university.

Entrance Preview

I took JEE Mains where in I've scored 102/360 which is the reason I didn't get any seat in NITs. Though I was able to acquire seat in some of the reputed institutes like VIT, GITAM, AMRITA, I chose Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology ( where I got seat through TS EAMCET)

Course Curriculum Overview

4

We will be having classes daily from 9:30 in the morning to (3:45/4:30) in the evening, mid(theory) examinations twice in the semester for every 8weeks and lab internals along with regular curriculum. After second mid examinations, lab externals shall be conducted followed by theory externals. Course structure is good and faculty supports alot regarding subjects and research.

Internships Opportunities

Our college has got MoU's with good number of industries all over Hyderabad. Since I am currently entering third year, I am not exposed to industries which gives stipend.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are good and almost 1100 students got placed out of 1700 students as far as my knowledge. Companies like Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Cognizant, Infosys , Cap Gemini, Wipro, Deloitte, Accenture etc,. recruit enough students from our college.

College Events

3.5

We are very privileged to take part in our college fests. The technical fest takes place in January along with some non-technical activities. Students from many colleges take part in this. And non-technical fest will be conducted in the month of September and college celebrates these fests beautifully. This fest will be followed by ROBOVEDA where various competitions will be held and students from various colleges including NITs, IITs, and BITS take part in the huge level.

Fee Structure And Facilities

1)We are currently paying 1,37,000 which is tuition fees. 2)We have to pay 3500 at the beginning for book lending scheme where textbooks shall be provided every semester and to be returned at the beginning of every semester. 3) College hostel fees shall be around 80,000. 4) Transport fees shall be 26,000 for non AC buses and 34,000 for AC buses and 8,000 for RTC buses.

Fees and Financial Aid

College doesn't provide any scholarship. Instead, fee reimbursement shall be provided for non OC candidates and that reimbursement will be on the basis of TS EAMCET rank. If a rank above 10,000 is acquired, 32,000 shall be paid by Govt. If a rank below 10,000 is acquired , total fee reimbursement shall be provided. For OC candidate whose annual income is below 1,00,00( rough figure, might extend to 2,00,000) and acquired a rank below 10,000 ,total fee reimbursement will be provided.c

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life is good. There are many clubs which provides different activities. Various clubs are TRC( The Robotics Club) which conducts activities related to robotics, TEC( The Electronics Club) which conducts activities related to electronics, ICC which conducts activities related to Web design, poster design and so on, ARTS club which looks after cultural activities, IEEE club which looks after activities like MUN , SAE club which looks after mechanical branch activities, CSAC which takes care of UPSC examination.

Hostel Facilities

3

I didn't avail hostel. So, I do not know much about hostel. As far as I heard from my friends, it is up to the average mark.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpful with respect to subjects, projects which we have to take up every semester, internships which we have to undertake every semester. They will be warning us as well as helps us in every aspect of our curriculum. Alumni will be invited who are in various fields and they will be guiding us to pursue our career.

Exam Structure

Mid examinations will be conducted for every 8 weeks twice in the semester and these mid examinations are of theory type. Lab internals takes part along with the curriculum. After mids, lab externals shall be conducted followed by theory externals. And third mid examinations will be conducted along with theory externals in order to improve in mid examinations performance.

Admission

I got admission in the second councelling of TS EAMCET. I've gone to college to report there that I am joining that college , submitted original certificates, paid minimum fees and finally attended Orientation program.

Faculty

4

Almost every faculty can teach every subject. For example, I am from Electronics and Communication Engineering and almost every faculty swaps their subjects each semester. And every faculty has got Masters in their profession. For example, I have come across a faculty who stood aside our team and encouraged us to learn deep about a particular topic and has given assurance that we can get an opportunity to give a seminar on that topic at reputed university. And students have participated in such activities under the guidance of faculty.
