Remarks

Worst management!! It's all about partiality here. Some of the teachers are really nice and helpful while others don't care at all. Worst college fests!!!

Entrance Preview

I gave COMEDK and got 7200 rank and opted for EEE branch. I opted the college because it had really good reputation with respect to placements.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

Our college is under VTU. It's the worst university as the course is not at all in an advanced version. Curriculum doesn't even allow us to do internship properly. Doesn't focus on the new version of course. Everything is so old out here. In 4 years you will learn nothing from this course. They seriously need an updation with their course structure.

Internships Opportunities

This year they started providing internship as it was made mandatory by the university that students should do an internship. Otherwise college never cared about anyone's internship. Stipen haha we are giving them money to provide us with an internship. I would say in this our university lags the most.

Placement Experience

0.5

When I entered this college in 2015 the placement was really good. But after that only CS and IS students are placed. Other branches do not expect anything. Now a days CS and IS students are also even finding it difficult to find a job. It's deteriorating day by day. I would it's nearly average with placements( IS CS branch only).

College Events

2.5

Main fest which occurs is kalanjali which is in the month of October and it is so bad that hardly any college participates in any of our events. It's embarrassing. Other than that we used to have branch fests but these days it's not happening. Thank God!

Fee Structure And Facilities

COMEDK students pay around 1.7 lakhs whereas CET students pay only 30 thousand. So now you can judge how much it's feasible and not. According to me the course which they provide then it's expensive. And then hostel fees is around 50-60 thousand. And then the examination fees are separate which you will have to pay in between your sems.

Fees and Financial Aid

I really don't know about this. But ya there are many of my friends who are studying under scholarship. Don't know about the loan part.

Campus Life

3

Campus life sucks! The gender ratio is quite good actually. Extracurricular do occur but the platform is not that big. At a minor level, it's fine. Our college is really good at cricket and people do go to nationals for sports like judo, taekwondo etc. There will be a huge partiality between South Indians and North Indians. I guess you should be ready for all of this. Have listened to many racist remarks. That's the pathetic part. They treat you very differently when it comes to north Indians. Whether it's in terms of marks or behavior.

Hostel Facilities

1

Hostel facilities are good. There 5 units for boys hostel. Unit 1,5 and 3 are really good and comfy. But the mess food sucks big time. It should improve. I m not staying in the hostel as the food is pathetic. I so I m staying in a 1 bhk flat with one roommate. It's very close to my college and nearby there are markets so you can easily buy anything.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are helpful. There are really good crowd over here. You do connect with people instantly and they will try to help asap.be good to them and they will be good to you.

Exam Structure

It's all about mugging up. If you are good at it then you will receive really good marks otherwise be ready for the backlogs. Labs are boring many of the equipment doesn't work properly. It's tarnished. It feels like the apparatus are from medical age. Though lab exams are bit hectic. And theory exams are too hectic.

Admission

I got the college from COMEDK counselling process. We had to go to the counselling centre then we were asked to submit all out documents I.e. 10th 12th marketeer etc. Then you are called according to your rank and then you get to choose a college and branch.

Faculty

2.5

In my branch(eee) I would say teachers are not that bad. They are keen to support you and make you understand the topic well. But it's just that they themselves don't have that much knowledge so if something asked out of the box they are shell-shocked always. It's just that our H.O.D us way too strict. But it's kind of ok. But the standards of study material is too low. It's just that they want that student should mug up the material and pass.
