Techno: A place where dreams are built

There is nothing bad when you faculties and college forces you to work hard to build your future so I would like to say that this is the thing which Techno NJR does. Our college is not only good but excellent in helping us to build our future and helping us whenever we need their guidance. We have the best-experienced faculty to help us whenever we need them. They are very eager to help us 24*7. Being surrounded by such experienced people automatically led us on the right path. One thing about our college is unique which is that we don’t say that we are a family, it is automatically shown by our behaviour towards our teachers, seniors & to juniors as well, this makes us a great family and the best college as well. In terms of bad reviews, I would like to say that “liberty with responsibility is good” so our college sometimes can give some liberty in terms of holidays, and more co-curricular activities to us.

I took admission in Techno India NJR Institute of Technology via RPET examination and I scored good marks in that exam. As I was really interested in Computer Science so I choose CS branch. Our college provides admission via RPET & JEE-mains as well. I researched a lot after the REPT results and I found this college perfect for me because in this college students learn by doing means students get is more theoretical knowledge rather than bookish knowledge and there are various programs which are organized by our college to groom students personality and make them fit for industrial so it was quite clear to me that this is the place where I can build my dreams and give them shape which I want.

As our college is affiliated to AICTE(All India Council for Technical Education) as well as to RTU(Rajasthan Technical University) so according to that it follows the RTU syllabus but in addition to that there are a lot more research activities which occur in our college like research in Electronics and Communication, Computer Science, Mechanical and Civil as well. Some of the research is like working with IBM Watson, Making bricks from metallurgical waste, Lake water monitoring system, working with NAO (Humanoid Robot), AR(Augmented Reality) VR(Virtual Reality), stuff like 3-D printing and various other projects are there on which student can research and work.

Yes, of course, our college provides internship opportunities for students and there are a lot of companies which came to our college and provided internships to various students and few of them are IBM, Adynor, Xportmine, Appirio etc. and they provide a good stipend to students. The companies make the students learn new technologies and assign them Live projects so that they can be prepared for the future purpose. During internships companies also provide facilities like a stipend, place to live, because some companies like IBM, Adynor call students to Banglore for work so all these incentives are provided by them,

Our college has performed exceptionally well in terms of placements recent batch 2014-2018 has got package ranging from 3.5 LPA from (Metacube) up to 6.6 LPA from(Drishti Softwares) including many other successful startups like Paytm offered (5 LPA) to one of our friend. Big companies like IBM also selected 2 of our students at a package of 3.5 LPA as well TCS offered 3.5 LPA package to 3 of our friends. Various other companies like Fusion, Rang Technology, Advaiya Solution, Appicino, GKMIT, Gateway Technolabs, Zauba Technologies, Adynor, Xportmine also offered packages like 2 LPA, 3.65 LPA, 4 LPA, 2.5 LPA, 3.6 LPA. Apart from placements one of our friend Akshay Nandwana has recently got selected for Google I/O conference and he was invited by Google itself to attend the Google I/O conference at Shoreline Amphitheatre, Mountain View, California, United States because of his contribution in open source and GDG(Google Developers Group).

There are two major events which are celebrated in our College they’re 1. Fresher’s party 2. Techfest (Techjalsa) Taking about the Fresher’s Party this event is organized by the seniors of our college and with the help of our faculties and give a grand welcome to the freshers who have decided to be a member of TINJRIT family. In this celebration there are various fun activities are there to make the freshers feel comfortable among the TINJRIT family. In this event there is a competition to decide Mr. and Miss. fresher based on their dressing sense, gratitude, the presence of mind, Talent etc. and those who win this competition are awarded the title of Mr. and Miss. Fresher as well as some goodies and a winning prize. Apart from all these, there are fun activities where senior show their talent to entertain juniors, food, music, dance is all around and the environment becomes totally different. Now, the most awaited event of Techno India NJR is Techfest (Techjalsa) in which all the students take part and in this event and various fun activities like Nukkad Natak, Wall Painting competition, Bridge Making, Mahendi competition, Robo War, Debate competitions, Face Painting Competition, Essay writing competition, Group Discussions, Dance competitions, Computer Games like(FIFA, NFS etc.) and the most famous Roadies competition happens in this fest. There are various task assigned to the teams who take part in it and that team who completes all the tasks are declared as winners. In each and every competition there are cash prizes for winners, and at the end of this fest, there is a grand celebration and DJ night which creates an amazing environment. These events are very big that the whole city knows about it and students from various colleges in our city come and take part in competitions like Robo War, Computer Games etc. So, the target audience is very huge.

The fee structure of our college is very simple and affordable, with complete facilities like the hostel and other facilities it will cost around 130,000 per year. For local students, the fees will be around 90,000 + 10,000 Bus Fees(optional) + Accessories like(Dress, Book Bank, Caution Money etc.). So, I would say that our college charges nominal fees and provides best facilities, education, and resources. Our college takes fees according to RTU norms which gives a crystal clear transparency.

Especially for brilliant girls or a single girl child bus fees can be deducted for them, in addition to this, there are also other things which our college provides to such students who are very keen in studies based on their performance in secondary and higher secondary and in college. Those students who are needy and dedicated towards learning and growing various other facilities are also provided to them like the college itself purchase the books which student demands for study, any course they want to pursue among the various online courses then the college sanctions their amount for that. So such type of expenditure is reimbursed by the college.

Talking about college life I can say that those 4 years which I spend in college were best because of helping seniors, friendly faculty and proper guidance. Sometimes, students feel that there is huge strictness regarding studies and training but by the end of college when companies come and see such a great knowledge in students then everyone realizes that how much that strictness is required, and how it helped them in getting their dream job. Talking about other activities yes sports week use to happen in our college in which everyone branch make their own teams and take part in competitions. Also various cultural activities like dance competition, debate competitions use to happen in our college which gives a lot of knowledge about the current issues like global warming, cybercrime, Political issue etc. There are a lot of personality development activities which are organized for us to make us more better, more active. Our college also has Toastmasters club in which every week meetings use to take place and various competitions happen like Debate Competitions, Table Topics round etc. So, our college gives whole sum development to its students no one can escape from training and such personality building activities which really means a lot in real life like soft skills development training, Technical skills training etc. Every student is in safe hands in our college.

I would rate 7 out of 10 for hostel facilities and mess food, I am pretty sure that these two facilities are reasonably good for students so that the students live a healthy lifestyle in college and perform well in his studies. There are various other facilities for students like free wifi 24*7 for study purposes in which ensures that all the illegal sited are not accessible, 24*7 Medical facilities are there in our college and 24*7 water and electricity is available for hostellers for their comfort. Taking about mess food our director sir himself monitors the mess food by having the same food for him during the lunch time to make sure that a well-balanced diet is provided to students. I would like to say that all the required basic facilities for students are provided to them and the most important thing that if anyone complains about the quality of the food or any other facility then immediate actions are taken to resolve the issue.

Yes sure, as I have already mentioned that our seniors are very helping but as well as our alumni are too good that they all treat us like we are their own brothers and sisters and help us in every way possible like giving advice, solving doubts, etc. Our alumni are in different cities so we get help from all over India. There are various Facebook Pages through which we get connected to them and via seniors too. We also have an NJR talk platform where students can find every technoite and talk to them freely about anything everyone is there to help us. They always motivate us and encourage us to reach up to their level and much higher than them.

The exam structure of our college is very good which prepares the student for semester exams so that they perform much better than other college students. During Labs, we are much forced to focus on concepts, not on the mugging of programs and just replicating then at the time of Test. In each and every subject we are forced to emphasise more on concepts rather than Learning the answers. During one semester we have 2 midterm exams and lots of Lab activities and Project work which helps us to cope up with the growing world. We have the liberty to learn any additional subject during our semester, this type of freedom of learning our college provides. Every student can choose any project of his choice to work on which helps him in building his future. So, we have a healthy competitive environment like IIT’s and BITS.

I appeared for RPET (Rajasthan Pre-Engineering Test) and scored quite well my rank was near about 10,000 and after that, I applied for the college in which I have to choose the college according to my choice and preference so, obviously as I have already decided to choose this college I marked on Techno as my priority and rest other colleges in Jaipur etc. Fortunately, I was allotted the college of my choice and after that, I have to report to the college with the documents and allotment letter and finally, after some formalities, I got admission in this college.

In terms of Qualification and dedication of our faculties, I would like to say that we are fortunate enough that we have got such a great faculty as they have a lot of years of experience in Teaching field as well as the Industry environment. Our faculty belongs to various prestigious colleges like IIT, BITS (Pilani), IIIT, NIT’s etc. Our director sir himself is from BITS(Pilani) so we get best advise and counselling for our future and to build our dreams. The student teacher bond in our college is very strong that we can share our ideas, ask doubts no matter how silly they are so it creates a perfect environment to study. Faculties are always there to support you, resolve your doubts, discuss any new technology which creates interest of students in working on the emerging tech.
